I've seen a number of Japanese "hug pillows" and that's what they appear to be--long tube pillows (body pillows in the US) with a print of an anime character or pretty actress printed on the sheet.

I guess I'm even more unknown than I intend to be, anyway that thing looks like a giant dog biscuit with teeth. It looks more suitable as a warning to keep neighbors kids out of your yard than it does for a sex toy.

I've seen a lot of more adult hugging pillows. Most of them are about 4-5 feet long or so with a picture of a naked or scantily clad woman printed on it, sometimes a real photo and sometimes an anime girl. There are even ones with a compartment to fit a rubber vagina so you can actually have sex with it rather than just dry humping one.
