This was my first year at the AEE and there were a few things that were weird:
1- Julia Bond and TT Boy had a violent altercation- Does anyone know what that is all about?
2- I heard that there were some problems with Vanity(the transvestite) and some fans- does anyone know anything about that? And BTW, it was really bad having men all over Vanity, as if s/he were a female performer (not knowing that s/he was a TRANNY)
3- What is wrong with Cytherea? I saw her on Friday and on Sunday and both days, she was extremely weird. On Sunday, when I got to speak to her, she was all over the place.
Overall, it was a great experience even though it was HECTIC!!

Wasn't there. Never met her. So, I'm no expert, but this might shed some light on things: according to recent adultfyi stories Cytherea has admitted to drug addiction while others argue that she's actually been on drugs much longer than she's admitting. She claims to have kicked the habit, observing that her breasts have swelled up since she stopped using. On her last KSEX show before AEE I believe she claimed to be 11 days clean. This and more information came out when Cytherea, her boyfriend (?), Gen Padova, and Jenaveve Jolie had some drama aired out through KSEX and XXXPorntalk.
I was actually on the same plane with Cytherea on the way back home. She looked drugged out and I doubt it was because she was tired either. She met up with her boyfriend(looks like him) at the baggage claim.

That's just sad. It's odd to think about though. She's always looked drugged out to me, but with her squirting gimmick I trusted that she was just really into the sex. How naive was that? Well, it's been a good act. It obviously fooled Patrick Collins....
Good luck to Cytherea on quitting for good, especially if she thinks maintaining her current lifestyle such as going to Vegas for AEE, is truly feasible. I'd rather see her clean and out of porn than on drugs and in porn.
This is the gossip (the only kind of adult industry news there really is), none of it positive. But in a thread entitled "Weird Things that Happened During the AEE" what the fuck else are you expecting? Everything's going to be hearsay. And to think this was my first time going to the AEE. This is way more interesting than soaps on TV. I really liked Nicole Sheridan she was classy and friendly. Not at all fake. We had some good laughs when we were talking on Saturday and Sunday.
too bad that everybody only speaks about the unfriendly, pissed of and drama stories and not about the girls that were actually glad to be there and loved to talk to their fans like Georgia Peach, Ashley Blue or Lexi Love...

Last year everyone was talking about Gia Paloma's overdose. This year it's various Kurt Lockwood prima donna, Cytherea looking drugged out, Mary Carey meltdown, etc. stories. I wouldn't call talking about it pathetic. I'd call it human nature. In many ways, AEE is a car wreck. There are many untold good things to talk about, and a small handful of melodramatic incidents to dicuss.
If you'd rather not hear about Cytherea's on-going drug dependency or Kurt Lockwood making an ass out of himself, I can say that one of the main themes of all AEE re-caps I've read is a question of, "How do the girls do it?". Fans and industry people alike have marveled openly at the girls' ability to stand for so long and remain so cheery and eager to meet the fans. The successful aspects of the event are definitely because of this amazing collective ability the girls have.
I understand that there was a lot of great stuff and I have written that in other posts on ADT and personally to some porn stars, but the fact is that all this weird stuff happened and I was just wondering why it happened? I really feel bad for Cytherea and I wanted to see what was going on with her. the Bond/TT Boy came out of nowhere and Vanity was just plain old scary. A lot of great stuff happened at AEE and that is being covered in other forums on aDt.
On friday after the show, we asked Gia Paloma for some pics with her. She said sure and if someone can help her with her luggage downstairs. A buddy of mine was more than willing to help. So he help her downstairs and hailed a cab for her. She promised us DVD's the next day but I guess she forgot. Although she sign MY HERO to him the next day.

Jesse Capelli was such a terrific person. Me being Canadian and same as her, she loved it and was talking to me about living in Vancouver and still having a place there. I really enjoyed it when I got to stand there and talk to the girls about thier work and some who feature danced. Made it more personable than just "Can i get a picture with you" and this being my first AEE it made me more impressed. McKenzie I love her accent, she said she loved the Canadian accent, and Chanel is so sexy and smiles so sweet. The Doghouse Digital girls were the sweetest ones. Christine Young was all smiles all the time. I had brought my two dvd covers and they all sat there checking them out and signed them, Sorority Secrets and Girly Gang Bang 2. Christine asked if I has number 3 asd she is in that one..of course I do LOL. Then posed for pics with me and thanked me for showing support to fellow Canadians. Cherokee was a doll. Codi Milo, can i have a carbon copy as a girfriend? Is she not beuatiful or what? I have to hand it to all the women, to be there the whole day for the industry people and then the tons of fans with flashes going off in thier faces, signing stuff, it shows that these women sure do not get the credit they so deserve. Let's see some Multi Million Dollar Hollywood stars do that. Ya right.
Something else that was weird was the fact that JANINE said she WAS NOT retiring. When I told her that I had made the line because she was retiring, she told me not to listen to her. She said she had some new exciting projects to work on. THUMBS UP to Janine!

On a down side I have to say I have learned a lot about shoes along w/ Miss Peach.

I'm kinda glad this thread was started. I have been purposely staying away from the board until such time as all the great stories and threads sbout AEE and what a wonderful time it was had ended.
I hardly need to be reminded of what I missed...so keep on with the negative stuff - its making my working-ass feel better!
The AEE Convention was by far the best one that I've been apart of. Signing for Kick Ass Pictures was a pleasure. They were respectful and very appreciative in all that I did in my power to do, from meeting tons of people each day, signing, taking pictures, talking up a storm to promoting their Pussy Pump and laughing along with those who were either freaked out or intrigued by the new toy.
The OD story of Gia Paloma last year, the Cytherea fiasco crap is just the icing of the dramatic cake of AEE. Where there's negative there's always a bit of positivity to make the whole thing operate. And vice-versa. You will never find all of just one. Take it or leave it. The bull crap talk of someone being a drug addict or a recovering one or whatever it may be is not much of a damper on the show as it is to have a girl flake on a production company when she gives her word rain or shine that she'll be there to sign and even promise to meet her fans.
I'm sure Bianca Pureheart wasn't the only one that did this to everyone but it does place a bit of a damper on those who are to work side-by-side with them. Now that's more important drama to be focused on than whether some chick was drunk or drugged while she was signing. Let them waste themselves away. A promise to others and then brake that promise is a different story... it affects your working surroundings. Thankfully, I enjoy being on the floor doing what we do at a convention from opening hours to closing each and every damn day. And didn't let the overwhelming amount of people freak me out.
I had a fucking blast and thankful I'm not one of those girls who sign 4hrs each day and bitch about being cold, feet hurting, tired, wanna go party cuz its that much more important than the purpose of actually being there.

Poor Nadia Hilton was stuck getting the bird's eye view of that "toy" all day long. Everytime I passed her, we both looked at the screen in unison and shook our heads, lol.
You too Gen, it was a pleasure getting to carry your big-ass lifesize sign down the halls of the Venetian as well. Just wish I knew which way I was going at the casino (to get to my shuttle), and I would have carried it farther, lol.
Sorry Bianca flaked out, thus why I asked. The fact that KA only had 2 girls noted for signing (on the list I had, at least)...and you were the only one there...well, it said "oops, someone flaked".
