Who owns the rights to these movies ? Whose cage do we need to rattle to get them out on DVD ?

Have no clue who owns the rights, but they were or less average product often marred by the annoying video trickery called "tannervision" and looping. For the most part the video box covers were more interesting and appealing than the product. Perhaps a couple of Rachel Ryan and Careena Collins titles would be worth saving, but the rest was really run of the mill. And they used to do quite of bit of compilations, which was not always obvious to the untrained eye.
A few of their titles received poor DVD releases. Then they stopped. I'm assuming there must not have been much money in it for their titles. WPINK was Paradise Visuals. Different company.
Some DVD's of classic WV titles have been released - I recently got the (cut) version of "Tracy In Heaven." May be one of the few releases mentioned above as being "poor" -- it's certainly no technical masterpiece as a DVD. But there is a Western Visuals web site, if anyone wants to explore further. (Aside to Mr. Flash: where is your marvelous sig quote ('impossibly hospitable') from??)
In a word, yes. Not sure there would be much left of this flick if that whole thread and TL's scenes both were cut out!

They re-issued it with all Traci Lords scenes removed, added scenes of another actress. The removal of Traci Lords does not much impair the enjoyment of the movie, since it was really not about her but Gina Valentino (which may have been her best role). I may add that it was a cheap production with cheap special effects (the hell sequences).

^ A friend and I have been thinking about picking up a few of these to scope, what with several of them featuring great casts from the classic era. FWIW, HotMovies has screen shots (only one shot per scene, though) of most of the DVD releases, along with numerous VOD-only WV offerings. From the spotty info available, and your helpful comments, I'm recommending to my friend that we don't waste our money just yet. Thanks for the update, bdm.
