Who owns the rights to these movies ? Whose cage do we need to rattle to get them out on DVD ?

Have no clue who owns the rights, but they were or less average product often marred by the annoying video trickery called "tannervision" and looping.
For the most part the video box covers were more interesting and appealing than the product. Perhaps a couple of Rachel Ryan and Careena Collins titles would be worth saving, but the rest was really run of the mill. And they used to do quite of bit of compilations, which was not always obvious to the untrained eye.

I'm always running across titles on IAFD that I would like to have. I guess mostly for nostalgia sake !

A few of their titles received poor DVD releases. Then they stopped. I'm assuming there must not have been much money in it for their titles. WPINK was Paradise Visuals. Different company.

No problem. For a while Paradise Visuals started releasing their titles as well, but they have dried up too.

Some DVD's of classic WV titles have been released - I recently got the (cut) version of "Tracy In Heaven." May be one of the few releases mentioned above as being "poor" -- it's certainly no technical masterpiece as a DVD.
But there is a Western Visuals web site, if anyone wants to explore further.
(Aside to Mr. Flash: where is your marvelous sig quote ('impossibly hospitable') from??)

Ooops. I see I asked the wrong person about the quote - it's very courteous of you to answer anyway. Thanks...

Did they leave in all the incest garbage?
I guess I'm just surprised this one got re-issued with Traci being a problem and then all the incest.

In a word, yes.
Not sure there would be much left of this flick if that whole thread and TL's scenes both were cut out!

They re-issued it with all Traci Lords scenes removed, added scenes of another actress. The removal of Traci Lords does not much impair the enjoyment of the movie, since it was really not about her but Gina Valentino (which may have been her best role). I may add that it was a cheap production with cheap special effects (the hell sequences).

Western Visuals appears to have been busy dumping their catalog. I just noticed how many they have out now.

Adult Video Universe shows 48 of their titles. It looks like they have around 50 released so that's damn close to all if not all of them.

^ A friend and I have been thinking about picking up a few of these to scope, what with several of them featuring great casts from the classic era.
FWIW, HotMovies has screen shots (only one shot per scene, though) of most of the DVD releases, along with numerous VOD-only WV offerings.
From the spotty info available, and your helpful comments, I'm recommending to my friend that we don't waste our money just yet.
Thanks for the update, bdm.
