I'm interested in amateur DVDs and I was wondering if someone could throw out a few titles and what they thought of them?

Unfortunately, right now there are not many options when it comes to amateur adult DVD. Your best bet is one of the "Pro/Am" series. These "Pro/Am" lines often feature brand new actresses paired with professional male performers. Also, the production values are usually MUCH better than in true amateur films.
3 lines that are standouts include:
Video Virgins Gold (1-4) from Digital Sin
Global Warming Debutantes from Mew Machine
Up and Cummers from New Machine. Up and Cummers #10 is especially noteworthy because it features adult superstar Jenna Jameson in her very first (pre-implant) appearance.
Another very popular line, although not truly amateur, is the Freshman Fantasy series from Digital Playground.

I agree with five_star. His/Her recommendations are very good.
I watched Real Sex Magazine 18 from Legend last night. I think you might like this one too. The girls are attractive, the guys aren't repulsive and not a fake breast in the whole movie. I thought this one was pretty good even though it's from Legend. I don't care for most of the stuff that I've seen from Legend.

I whole heartedly agree with Drew Black and SiMpLe on RSM...all of the tapes Real Sex Magazine are top notch with about half the girls being genuine cuties. I hope the entire series (25 and counting) makes it to DVD.
Hustler's Beaver Hunt series is pretty good, but it stretches Am or Pro-Am to the extreme, since most of the performers are in the adult biz, primarily doing internet sex shows...
