Yes, Back 2 Evil is awesome, but I think that it maybe was mostly due to Mason's involvement in the project and not Nacho, who seems to be way better when other people direct his scenes. The dialogue and set ups in some of the scenes had Mason's imprint written all over them. The first two Nacho titles he did for Evil Angel were not very good, pretty much straight ahead gonzo with scenes that didn't seem to well thought out, looked like they were slapped together very quicky and rushed to release. B2E was very different than any of his other movies, I'm hoping he continues in this new direction, I guess we'll see if he does with his next release.
Mason's involvement??? You mean in the Location Scouting department? That's basically all it was, trust me. Nacho has matured both as a director and a performer, and Back 2 Evil has HIS signature all over the place, if you ask me.

Location can make a huge difference in a movie. Instead of seeing the same couch in every scene, if you know what I mean (see RLD releases). And from Mason's post on this subject a few weeks back, I think it was more than just scouting locations. Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I read it was more than that. Nacho has never done a movie like Back 2 Evil before, as far as style, locations, costimes etc, he never has. So I would have to say this is a new direction he's gone in, a style I've never seen him do before. Sure he's done rough type sex before, but the dialogue and attitude just wasn't there in his previous releases, it was always the straight ahead gonzo type stuff with no real theme to it. He's never released anything this dark before, I really like it and hope he continues with this type of movie making in the future.

I don't want to get too much into it again, but I think that having the cinematographer from Fashionistas as his videographer on three of the scenes in Back 2 Evil made a pretty big difference. We told Nacho we needed something special on his return to Evil Angel, and he delivered. Not all of his future Evil Angel movies will have this type of artistic feel, as our videographer won't be working on all of them, but they will all be pure Nacho.

I guess you must not be busy enough at Elegant Angel, given all the extra time you have to spend doing free PR work for Evil Angel. I'm thinking of this thread in particular.

I have to ask why people find it so hard to credit Nacho for his work on this movie? Why do people want to believe Mason was really behind it? For example, MB - how do you know exactly what Mason's involvement was?
My problem? My problem is that I admire talent. My problem is that Nacho has been a good friend of mine for many years, and a few months ago he came to my house for dinner and told me that he wanted to shoot this movie, and outlined it scene by scene exactly the way it came out. My problem is that I like to say what I think, and give credit to the people who deserve it. That's it. Fishing for a job????? Mason-Bashing????? Free PR for Evil Angel????? Good Lord, Bob...seems like YOU are the one with a problem, here ;)

Mason and Nacho have both stated their sides to the story. We do not need to get into this again. Personal attacks have no place here. Please get back to the topic of good Nacho titles.
If you're a true fan of Nacho, you have to see him in Shane's World 22: Scavenger Hunt. You really get to know what he's like and how crazy (fun) he can be.
Nacho is one of the very best male performers bar none. He is from the same school as Rocco. Another great perfomer is Manuel Ferrara. Nacho is involved in most of the best scenes I have ever shot. He personally recommended Manuel to me some time ago. Check him out. Our Erotica XXX series has them both. We have many scenes with Nacho through the years. He never disappoints. Our director Jonni Darkko shot one of the scenes in his Back 2 Evil product as well as a GG scene in Bellas' movie for Evil. Nacho used my camera as well for the whole thing. Check out his shooting style. We have 2 more volumes of Killer Pussy (16 & 17) to release and then afterwards you will need to look to Evil for newer products as he is producing exclusively there. We gave him his first shot at directing a series with Killer Pussy and he has been very dedicated to us during that time. I wish him all the success he well deserves in his future.
