Most of these titles are shot specifically with DVD in mind and they usually have lots of extra features. Vivid Wave - Because Vivid has such a large catalog of movies, they release 1 older title per week on the Wave line. All of the Wave titles are features, meaning the are movies with a "story line". Many popular Vivid Girls from the past like Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon, Raquel Darrian and Nikki Tyler are featured on Wave titles. Very good values can be had with this line. Vivid Raw - Raw is priced similar to Wave but the big difference is that the Raw line is more gonzo oriented. It's more of an all sex and less acting approach. Raw also has more black, interracial and anal themes. There seems a great deal of confusion about the Wave and Raw titles being edited versions or cable versions of Vivid movies. Wave and Raw titles are FULL adult movies and they are NOT edited versions. I think this confusion is the result of certain online stores selling Vivid product and not indicating that they are selling cable versions. Obviously, customers are disapointed when they don't get what they are expecting and this has left many people confused.
