I have a 32" LG flat screen TV set up in my bedroom. It's connected to a Western Digital Media Player with a USB port that I hook up to a 2 terabyte external hard drive that I keep all my porn movies on. When I'm watching my porn, I usually run a headphone extension cord from the TV to my ear-buds. For Christmas I got around $400 combined from all my relatives. I'm looking to drop some of it on by enhancing my porn viewing experience. So what cool gadgets should I buy? I'm currenty eyeing these Ladobi ear-buds. Any thoughts on their usefulness? Looking for some cool suggestions...

I like my Bose ear buds. They're expensive, about $100.00 for the pair, yet, they provide good quality sound. I good quality reclining chair....that can lean way back. A big jar of petroleum jelly, a roll of paper towels and it's show time!

Ear buds are great for throwing in a pocket when you'll be out and about, but if you're sitting at home, you can't beat a great pair of headphones. I have beats, a couple of gaming headsets, etc, but on my own shopping list at some point is a pair of these from Audio Technica, the ATH-M5 hex . Every audiophile I've spoken to has said these are the best for the money out there, so I'd give them a try. Apart from that, if you're saving all your porn to a single disk, you're a hard drive away from heartbreak. I bought a Western Digital My Cloud EX2 this year and it has been great for porn. There's still the risk of a catastrophic RAID failure (RAID isn't backup), but I've connected my old external drive by USB to it and use that to archive backups. An added bonus is the app allows streaming to your phone and tablet, so it works as a media server. Love it. Finally, no joke here, buy a fleshlight. The petroleum jelly and paper towels can only go so far.
I don't know who makes it, but I'd love a really well laid out remote control that would easily let me Play, Pause, FF, Rewind, and skip backward and forward, easily. I should be able to do it one handed, with either hand, either hand-held or down on a chair-arm or tabletop. If that sounds like dumb--you must have a really great remote. Most of the remotes I've seen are not so good. The buttons are too small and crowded together, or they're not very sensitive and have to me mashed, or too sensitive and are actuated by a fleeting accidental brush of a fingertip. I suppose some people watch porn uninterrupted and through, but most people I know want more direct control over what they're seeing.
^ I own a Logitech Harmony 650 Remote and I highly recommend it. Works very well with all devices and the layout of the buttons is really intuitive. There are fancier ones you can get, but really, who needs a bunch of bells and whistles on a remote control? I think simplicity is preferable.

Might go for some good wireless earbuds this year. Anyone have any solid recommendations? My understanding with wireless audio is that it can be kind of uneven.
So I got a set of Sennheiser wireless headphones. The transmitter for the headphones is pretty compact, only about two ounces, so I was able to affix it to the back of my television with a small strip of Velcro. So far they are amazing! Very comfortable, sound quality is excellent, and the range is impressive. Great purchase for any porn fan who wants to watch scenes on their big screen discreetly.
The Logitech 700 is being discontinued. Best Buy is clearing them out for about $40-50. Two advantages for bed-bound wankers: The buttons are backlit and the remote is rechargeable.
Any serious tosser should have USB ports on a new flatscreen TV or Blu-Ray player so you can plug in a USB-enabled device loaded with MP4 files and wank away.
^ The great thing about my Western Digital Media Player is that it plays a wide array of different file types. In my experience the file types supported by most TVs, Blu-Rays, and other media players is pretty limited. The WD TV is great for all the older files I have. Sadly, it's been discontinued. I hope it's just a temporary thing and WD decides to come out with a new model. It will be a sad day for me when it finally kicks the bucket.
^It's interesting how the digital media players (seemingly) turned out to be a fad. I think the introduction of smart TV's; Roku and other subscription-based boxes; and Google Chromecast and similar dongles have replaced/displaced the digital media players.
^ Yeah, I can't play a huge portion of my files on Roku and my understanding is that only a few porn sites have streaming channels that work reliably on it. Chromecast isn't something I've looked into. Is the quality as good as having a direct connection from the TV to you media?
^I don't own a Chromecast but have seen it used at a friend's house. The quality is good but AFAIK it is primarily a device for playing streaming services (Netflix, hulu, youtube, etc.) via a tablet/phone/computer. I did a quick googlesearch, seems to indicate local media playing capability, but it's not a simple/direct/straightforward procedure.
