I don't know where he's getting these girls. I've never heard of some of them. The films are starting to get good. I liked Monica Breeze in Make me Creamy 2. (Of course, Puma Swede, too.)
I really like "Bombshell Bottoms","The Gauntlet" and "Mope Squad".Vince always seemed to get brand new girls when he was with RLD,and he's still doing it.Along with Combat Zone,Vouyer Media is one of the better new studios out there.
he sure is using fresh hot new chicks in his videos but has toned down on anal and DP scenes, so I don't care much about his new stuff anymore, after watching 4 or 5 of them already.
I think you are right on that one, hell, they are right up there with the best. I've seen a couple of Combat flicks - didn't realize it was a Dion adventure until later. And I thought The Gauntlet from Vouyer was great - that is all I have seen from him - looking forward to more.

I've watched 7 movies from vouyer media and none of them impressed me. I was surprised to listen to vince himself saying in the bts and interviews of 'Gauntlet 2' that 2 scenes of the movie sucked. The female casts of all the movies were great, but that only goes to prove that the female cast is not everything.After all, in gonzo you also shoot action.
I myself have always been a fan of new Girls, but it is tough to get that energy from a New Girl sometimes, It's not every day that the likes of a Sascha Grey or Lela Star comes along, But at Combat Zone I will stick to the new Girl thing and hope to have strong enough Guys always to bring that energy out in these new Girls, of course we want Anal, DP's, Cream pies, and etc in every scene, but this isn't possible all the time when it comes to new Girls, again at Combat Zone we will try to get the best new Girls and bring out the most energy we can in them, and remember when a Girl is brand new and she is gorgeous and doesn't do Anal, we still should be happy just to have this Girl, my next movie coming out called Virgins of the Screen, cover Girl is amazing and she doesn't do Anal, but the scene with James Dean was awesome, I think James Dean is one of the best new talent out there, just my two cents, enjoy the 4th.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think James Deen is doing phenomenal and he's also becoming a very capable cameraman too. His POV's are spectacular to the point that I'm letting him shoot some for me.
Another guy who's doing better than ever is Will Powers who I've been using in my scenes. He sweats like a pig and getting the up n' over shot sometimes makes a lens full of ball sweat, but he's also a true up n' comer too.

I think this whole "New Girl" thing is silly. I don't think I'm in the minority in saying that I would rather see a great porn star paired up with a different partner and engaging in volcanic sex, than a new girl in sex that seems forced and uninspired. I understand having a line dedicated to "New Girls" but I think it's crazy to try and exclusively shoot newer girls for every release. It's really taking away from Vince's work and it will hurt Combat if they keep this philosophy.
I've seen Bella Donna in every type of scene imaginable and doing the filthies things and seemingly loving every minute of it. When Cock Happy came out, I bought it the first day it was available even though I have seen her so many times. This is true of so many of the best porn chicks out there.
Vince isn't a rookie at this by any means. he has an advantage over really new companies. i think what he is doing is great. he is trying something different by bringing in fresh young girls so you dont see the ssame faces all the time. The Gauntlet 1 & 2 and Teens in Tight Jeans are some of my favorites thus far.
I've seen two Combat Zone flicks now--Home Wreckers & Girl Next Door. So far my overall impression is good, although maybe not as good as I expected from Don Giarrusso. I have always liked his stuff, and I'm sure I will continue to. I won't bother critiquing the movies except to say that the male talent, camera, and editing should keep in mind that most of us watch these things to see and hear the girls, not the guys. I think in some cases, I would have made a different pick of male talent to "bring out the energy" in a new girl. Most of the girls were fantastic, albeit maybe a little green, as expected. I especially liked Amy Reid, Addison Rose, Piper Parker, and Lela Star.
My main question has to do with video format. My knowledge is limited on this stuff. I have a widescreen, 16:9 HD television. Girl Next Door was in a different aspect ratio that is even wider than 16:9, so I had the letter box across the top and bottom. I noticed it said "shot in HD video", and I don't have an HD or progressive scan DVD player. I don't think that would have made a difference if I did, as far as the aspect ratio goes. I think that most viewers, if they even have a widescreen TV, are probably going to have a 16:9 set, so why would you want to put it in a wider format than that?
Maybe you could set up a little speed dating experiment - put your stable of male talent down with the new girls and see who has the most chemistry with the girls over a 10-minute discussion get-to-know-you session. Then, get the guy and girl to spend a day hanging out with each other, having fun. Then, when the seeds of attraction are sown, and only then, shoot the scene.
Heck, that's just a great idea for a 'Perfect Match' approach to porn, full stop.
