For the life of me, I can't figure out why more of the gay classics from the 80's aren't showing up on DVD. Sure some moldy-oldies have been released, but nothing earthshattering.

I was checking out catalina's web site, and they are still promising to release some of William Higgins flicks on DVD, but they've been saying that for a while now.

I've never seen Sailor in the Wild , but would really, really like to see it on DVD.

Once The Bigger the Better gets released on DVD, I can die a happy man.

I just heard back from Catalina with some tentative dates on some of their classics on DVD:

Big Guns (Sept)
Sailor in the Wild (early OCT)
Young and the Hung (late OCT)

Gotta say Young and The Hung would be a great DVD if for nothing else the scene of the three guys fuckinng a watermellon in the barn. I know it sounds odd, but the combination of three good looking farm boys trying to relieve themselves is very hot!

i'm all for LEO AND LANCE. IIRC (if I recall correctly in internet lingo) THIS was the first gay adult film I actually saw in a theater (like many baby boomers, my first porn theater experience was a double bill of DEEP THROAT and THE DEVIL IN MISS JONES - the latter incidentally became the first adult video I purchased). LEO AND LANCE has that fantastic jailhouse scene, too, in addition to the blonde charms of the title characters.
There's an ancient rome saga that I'd also like to see on dvd, I believe that Al Parker was in it.
I'd give my eyeteeth for the complete works of Richard Locke on dvd.
