Open Firefox browser, click the Options icon at the upper-right corner, and choose Privacy & Security.
Scroll down to find Cookies and Site Data section, and click Manage Data button.
Select the target site, click Remove Selected, and click Save Changes button. Click Yes in the pop-up window to clear cache for this site.
Alternatively, you can also open the target website in Firefox browser, and click the "i" icon at the address bar. Click Clear Cookies and Site Data, and click OK to delete cookies and site data for the target website.
I am having a similar problem that Buck was having. Also using firefox. I tried following these instructions, but the problem is still occurring.
Here's what's happening for me:
I'll post in a thread (or edit someone's post for mod reasons) and when it's done loading, it kicks me back to the thread but the thread doesn't show my changes. I have to refresh the page again to see the new post. I'll give you a live example.
A couple minutes ago I posted in the retired pornstars thread. Then it kicked me back and as you can see in this screenshot, bumblaster's post is the last one in the thread, not mine:
Notice also that it doesn't show the thread as being the last thread posted in, as there is both a previous topic and a next topic.
But once I hit refresh again, I can see my post below his: (Had to make the size a bit smaller to fit both posts in the screenshot)
Now you can see my post, and it also shows that this was the most recent thread posted in.
I have added a no-store directive to tell your browser it should not store a copy of the pages in the local browser cache. You might need to force a refresh to override any pages that might currently be cached in your browser.
The search function doesn't seem to be working properly.
Today a member started a new thread for a girl because he used the search function and it didn't display any threads with her name (or her name at all anywhere in the forum, whether just in topic titles or in the text). I tried to replicate his results and found the same thing.
The first thread was only created on March 18, so it was since the attack. Searching for other random threads from before the attack doesn't seem to be a problem.
The girl's name (if you want to try to repeat the experiment) is Angie Faith. Even with two threads to her name now, the search function turns up nothing.
Thanks. That must mean the auto-tracking of updates is not running in the full-text index. I'll work on that now. Things are likely to slow down a bit while the index is repopulating.
