No attempt at a plot, a woman (95% of the time not even a pretty one) dragged around a hardwood floor on a leash, a boomed microphone that is periodically caught on camera, a blowjob that has more spit flying than Kobayashi diving into a pile of hot dogs, anal, anal, more anal (like it doesn't even matter that the woman has a vagina), incessant camera focus on a now dilated anus (like we're all supposed to be post medical students specializing in proctology), money shot (because some things never change), ending with some dumb ass guy bejabbering for two minutes about whether his goo tastes like Pioneer Chicken, all the while you with your dick in your hand wondering how the crap you ever got suckered into buying/renting this movie, finally - mercifully - ending with you shoving the DVD back in the case, closing the lid and staring at the label (on which, just to further demoralize you, the director has emblazoned the title "What an Ass").

Seems all u do is complain. No one's forcing you to buy or rent porn. I recommend you take up a new hobby.

Adult DVD Talk provides a great resource, not only for finding the best deals on movies, but for finding out which movies suit your tastes - look at all the reviews that are available for your perusal. How many have you bothered to read?

I'm not thrilled by a lot of the porn that's put out these days, but I'd have more sympathy for you, Midtown, if you hadn't blown everybody off that tried to direct you towards titles that might work for you the last time you bitched about the state of porn. Like it says in the Forum Etiquette, directors and performers are listening to 'constructive' criticism, but getting yourself labelled as a whiner isn't helping you to affect a change in the industry.

Why say no, when it feels so good to say yes.

I'm tired of the Midtown bitching too. I bitch as well, but at least I say what it is I do like. I recommend DVDs I like and I also give suggestions, backing it all up with my theories on it all so it's not so much bitching but a suggestion on making something possibly better.

You aren't being very constructive. Sure you may not like it, how about saying what it is you do like and what you'd do differently. And how about doing it in one thread instead of creating 10 threads where you bitch in all of them about the same thing. This is what your 5th thread now on how much you hate "extreme" sex. Like it wasn't established prior. And yet you still haven't named a few DVDs you do like. Why are you even here???

No offense but If I owned this place you'd be banned by now. Steph even warned you already and you've created the same thread again man. The point is..the porn you hate exists because people like it. People buy it so it exists. There is nothing you can do about it. Don't fight what sells. Instead...talk about what you do like so more of it is made. More interest is developed for it, more people buy and rent it, etc.

Also, did you not get the idea that what you rented or bought was on the extreme side based on the box cover, screen shots or online reviews made available? I mean it's kind of hard to buy a Max Hardcore film and not know what the hell it is you are getting.

Or if the title is Service Animals...well shit man. I kind of have a hard time sympathizing with you. You should know better.

There's classy porn out there. You have to look for it, and it's often buried under the crude stuff. Take my store for example. We get the top 40 new releases every week, and we arrange them alphabetically. Unfortunately the letters A (as in Ass) and B (as in Butt) are on the top two rows. Unfortunately "Island Fever 4," a high-budget title with 16 classy sex scenes, is a few rows down, and by the time you find it, you're sickened by the distasteful covers/titles you saw prior. That's the problem with browsing the new release section, the top 100 or whatever.

If you confine your searches to the Features section, or that of certain studios, you don't even have to see anything you find objectionable, especially online. All you have to do is bookmark the section you prefer, such as FEATURES at adultdvdempire.com, and you never have to look at any genre you find disagreeable. The internet is versatile, and it's all about personalization. Take the initiative to personalize your own porn shopping and you won't get so frustrated and angry.

Like what? I'm supposed to say how much I liked the house the scene was shot in?

Since there doesn't seem to be any communication going on here, I'm going to save Drew some disk space on his server.
