^ I think porn producers like Bangbros and Brazzers should worry more about the factors they CAN control such as being more creative instead of producing cookie-cutter bullshit. If tube and torrent sites were killing the industry as much as you say than how are niche studios/sites still existing and actually starting up fairly frequently? You'd think they'd be the ones that would get hit the most.
It's all too easy to blame piracy as though it's the sole cause of everything to do with the industry's downturn. I don't deny the loss of revenue and profit that can be invested into the company but losing money doesn't necessarily mean you lose creativity. The egos of producers who seem to ignore what people want are just as much to blame.

From what I understand, Bang Bros is actually owned by one of the companies that's been making a killing off of tube sites, so money shouldn't be an issue for them.
BangBros and RealityKings are my current favorite sites right now. I got them both on sale for around $9 a month. I then added Brazzers to RealityKings when it was on sale for $50 for the addon. I also have PornPros for $9 a month but I may cancel that one. The scenes on PornPros are getting seriously weak. They stopped producing Jurassic Cock, stopped CumshotSurprise. My other fave of there's, is DeepThroatLove. One third of the chicks don't deep throat, the other third are ok and the last third is Holly MIchaels. On the first page, she's in 5 scenes, the second page 4 scenes. She's great, but can we have some variety. And there's a lot of double ups on the other chicks as well. Also, go to PornPros.com and then BangBros.com and look at the thumbnails on the main page. The thumbnails on PornPros are very bland. It's the same white sheets on white furniture, on white background. BangBros and Realitykings have way more color in their thumbnails and they're usually on an action shot. The thumbnails on RealityKings MomBangsTeens are especially great. The color makes the shots look more vibrant and it makes me want to click on them even if I don't know the girl. The quality of Japanese productions hasn't gone down. Wanna know why? Because they have an endless supply of creativity...something that is seriously lacking in American porn. Creativity alone of course won't help any porn producer beat piracy but it should be more than enough to stay in business. Someone should try it. And it doesn't equate to a bigger budget. I agree that lack of creativity doesn't help the situation but it can't be the main reason why the porn industry is the way it is because if it was then porn would have died off by mid 2000. Have you ever heard of the following porn studios: Anabolic, Diabolic, DVSX, Evasive Angle, JM Production, Platinum X, Red Light District, Sin City, Vivid, Wildlife, Zero Tolerance and I could go on. You have named the only porn industry that appears to not have been affected by piracy but I think it's because it is for the most part all mosaic porn and most people don't enjoy that kind of porn and in case you want to tell me that people do like mosaic porn than you'll have to point me to any other place on the planet where they make mosaic porn. Another huge reason is that since non-mosaic porn is still illegal in Japan than every Japanese porn fan is sort of stuck at buying mosaic only porn which means they have to buy stuff made in japan. No offense but Japanese porn is not more creative today than it was a decade ago. No, their newer stuff is available up to 1080. Depending on when this was filmed, it might have different encoding available. They do encode at a lower bitrate. More reasonable download sizes than other studios, but not quite as high quality. There are some sites out there that do 1080 at 8000 kbps and it looks fantastic, but it's about a 3gig file for one scene.
