I take your point. There is a British site, Cumperfection, which uses close shots of the models face
and its pretty good, although a little low rent in term of production values, i.e a bit amateur.

There was a time when scene contained totalshots, closer shots and real close-ups. I mean the real close camerashots. These real closup shots mostly was found in gonzo genre.
