i believe they used 2 separate cameras\camera men and the actual scene if you were a fly on the wall would last around 30 minutes but they edited it after the fact and spliced together 30 minutes of cameraman 1 and 30 minutes of cameraman 2 into one 60 minute scene essentially. this way you got to see fairly close up shots of all the action and all the girls. so if you pay attention to the background action you will see stuff you saw in the first half of the scene at close up now in the background in the second half of the scene.
