The original Shane's World movies were almost all GREAT. I have not seen them put out one along those lines in a while. The Voodoo House stuff is a bit different and not as good, IMO. Having a cast travel somewhere etc as they used to do was a great idea. Please don't tell me the vocal minority of anal gape freaks put SW out of business!

I agree. Original Shanes World needs to return. Maybe some other studio can pick up the torch otherwise.

I think the retirement of Calli Cox marked the beginning of the end for Shane's World. They were at the top of their game with Calli running the show. She had a killer personality and was the perfect ring leader for their films.
They should do whatever they have to do to get her back in front of the camera and make her the face of the company, and then get back to the old formula because it was fun!
Probably no chance she'll do it but you never know. Maybe they've already approached her and she said no...who knows?
Regardless, they need a girl with that kind of charisma to be the face of the company. Anybody got any suggestions?

I always thought Randi Wright did a great Job on those College Invasion films she were on. She is probably crazy enough to pull it off.
Another good Hostess is Nikki on realitykings she only does g/g but is great at keeping up the spark on parties. Doubtful if she would leave realitykings tough.

I love the original Shane movies. I also loved her with Seymore Butts. While the new Shane's World movies are good, they're not the same without Shane. She just had a bubbly personality that lit up the screen.

I agree, I believe the series suffered more by Shane leaving it than it did when Calli Cox/Brittney Skye left. Someone needs to pick up the torch.

I read somewhere, that Calli Cox was a teacher before getting in to porn. Bet none of those dads were late for their parent teacher conference. Now Wickipedia shows her as a real estate agent in Orange County. First Ashlyn Gere, now her. Wish I worked in either one of those offices.
Shanes World is also putting out gay videos these days. Trying to expand the market I'm sure.
Shane and Seymour are similar to good singers who decide to go solo, and are mediocre apart. I haven't rented a video by either one in years.

Anyone know why it's so difficult to get ahold of the earliest ones in the original Shane's World series? The first 15 titles or so, from mid to late '90s, are almost impossible to find. Is it because of a problem with their distributor (Odyssey)?

It was not that great. I'd say it was boring all over with something good in it, like a day at School or something. Saw one half thru the other day, only got one, the one featuring Madison Monroe back in 2004. IMO I liked the western Shane from the 1950s a million mile more even though there was no banging involved. But there was intensitty. Landscapes. Nerves. Here there were almost only limp dicks and wet guns lacking shit doing nothing to intrigue or declare. Fuck it.
