Gawd, I'm getting tired of the interviews that lead into scenes. They are so formulaic as to be of little interest either as foreplay or as a way to find out something about our potential new enamoratas. The formula:

1. Girl says name.
2. Girl says she's here to a) get fucked, b) give a blowjob, c) something else.
3. Girl says how much she likes to suck dick, get fucked or both.
4. Guy asks girl when the first time she had sex was.
5. Guy asks girl how many scenes she's done,
6. Guy asks girl to undress.
7. Guy drools over tits, pussy and ass for an interminable length of time, sounding like a horny 15-year-old the whole time.
8. Scene begins.

How about some questions that break out of the juvenile mentality? How about:

1) Why do you like to suck dick? Is there something about it that gives you pleasure, do you just get pleasure from pleasing a man? Do you have a sense of power when you're blowing a guy?

2) Tell us some more about your sexual history. How active sexually were you in high school? Why? How many guys have you been with? If not a lot, what has led you into porn?

3) How sexually active are you sexually outside of porn? Do you have a boyfriend? Does he know? Do you have a lot of casual sex, or do you reserve your personal sex life for people close to you? Why?

4) Are there things you'll do on camera that you wouldn't do in your personal life? Why?

5) Have you given any consideration to the thought of a boxcover with your cum-splatterred face surrounded by seven black dicks on it showing up at your parents' doorstep, a future employer, your fiance's mailbox a couple of years from now, your children's schoool 15 years from now? What are you going to tell them?

6) Why porn? Why do you want to have a commercially available, permanent record made of you doing these things? Why not escorting, which is less public and more easily deniable?

7) If you're doing anal/DP/gangbang/blacks or something else for the first time, have you had any trepidation about doing it in the past? If so, why? And why are you doing it now?

I could go on, but you get the idea. Such an interview needn't be lengthy. In fact, you could have a decent interview in the same amount of time it takes for the guy to make it through all his obligatory, "Goddamn, nice ass!", etc. comments.

Again, my point is that most of the interviews I've seen don't accomplish anything beyond boring me. They don't communicate much to me about the performer, her sexuality, her likes and dislikes ... information that could make the performer more interesting and the scene more erotic.
