First off, all of the Evil Angel directors put out the kind of movies that they like to watch. They are not just going through the motions, just putting out crap for the sake of putting it out. As far as DVD is concerned, the best example that I can give regarding Evil's passion for quality is their first DVD's. When DVD first came out, there were very few companies who were able to replicate dual layer DVD's. These companies were in high demand by the mainstream film studios. As a result virtually all adult DVD's were single layer. Evil Angel realized that the quality of their 2 hour & 20 minute movies was sub-par on a single layer disc. As soon as they were able to put these movies on Dual layer discs, they did so and publicly announced that they would replace any of the original single layer copies with the improved version FREE OF CHARGE. No one else has fixed their poor titles, much less replace them for free. [Link] |
| Speelie Senior Member Fort Collins, CO 1191 Posts 5/01 | Posted - Jan 11 2002 : 10:08PM Evil Angel always has at least 130 minutes for the running time of the main movie (usually 140 minutes), they try to be honest with the cast lists, they usually give extra footage on DVDs, they give a fetish menu on DVDs (so that you can go to all the cock sucking or all the anal moments in the movie, for example), they give good customer service, they use directors who find actresses who are about being sexual instead of simply appearing pretty (but fucking like dead meat), etc. etc. There's a reason why most Evil Angel movies get such good reviews, and why even their "bad" ones usually get three stars. Read the reviews, keep the comments in this thread in mind, and then pick out a movie which sounds promising. Of course, you'd best watch at least one each from several of their directors before deciding if you enjoy Evil Angel product. I have many favorites from Evil Angel, but some at the top of the list include Rocco's True Anal Stories 14, A Bevy of Blondes, Fresh Meat 11, and Animal Trainer 4. [Link] |

Joey Silvera's Please! I've really enjoyed the few Rocco DVDs I've seen, especially Rocco's Way to Love . The only thing that really annoys me with Rocco is that the stars are often mislabeled in his credits, such as in Rocco's True Anal Stories 14 , so if you want to see a certain star again, you might be checking out the wrong star. I haven't seen much of CHristophe Clark, but he struck me as a kind of mixed bag. The Euro Hardball I saw was great, but I almost fell asleep at one point during Bevy of Blondes [Link] |

[I've e-mailed a few other companies, with no reply!] So, their customer service is a big reason as to why I gladly praise Evil Angel. The other reason I love Evil Angel is they put out consistantly GOOD if not GREAT product. The good products they release significantly outweigh the bad. [It hurt me to give Runaway Butts such a low Overall Rating, as I thought it would've been better.
