Both DVD's of 2 disk sets. AdultDVDEmpire only rents disk 1 not disk 2. Wanted List rents both but there selection is poor. i.e Full Streams Ahead 2 was available at adultdvdempire (disk 1 only) but wanted list did not have this any many other new titles. Topic Moved by - heynow on Oct 8 2009
All discs in a set shipped as one rental? XRentDVD is what you're looking for. It's an all around great site (huge selection, fresh stuff added daily, Sat. service, attractive and user-friendly website, etc), but service does get a little slow after you've been with them for a while.
I just ran into that problem with Adultdvdempire also. Totally caught me by surprise. I know Bushdvd rents both, but you have to rent them separately. I also know like Mrtibbs that Xrent does it. Well I know they do it if you rent a dvd separately, you just have to pay a few more dollars for it, but I don't know if it's included if you join one of their 2 or more monthly programs. I'm with bushdvd because I think they have a larger selection, but have been thinking about switching over to xrent to see if they'll rent me the extra disk without having to waste an extra selection/pick to get it?
Yeah, with XRent, a 2 disc title will count as two items from your queue. This can be frustrating and a waste of precious queue space when the second disc of a 2 disc title is just useless bonus bullshit, which is not uncommon.
Thanks for the info., I really appreciate it. I'll probably stay with bushdvd, and just rent individually from Xrent when I can. Unless I know what exactly is on that second disk, I rather just rent them at Xrent. I feel less cheated that way.
for those who don't know, my 2nd disk are not bts and xtra/old scenes bull shit. the way i set my movie up is, disc 1 as 3-4 scenes plus bts, photo gallery, and trailers. the same for disc 2. i did this so its like you get 2 movies. i was aware that when you rent online they rent each disc separate that's why i did that so the view gets their moneys worth.
I like xrent DVD alot. Didn't know that about Adultdvdempire until recently. I thought that even if your on a 2 dvd at a time plan from xrent, if you had only 1 slot open they would still send you both discs of a 2 dvd set without charging more. Will have to do some more research on this.
You are correct. Our system will send you the next available title in your queue when you have a slot open. This will temporarily over-allocate your account so you would need to return 2 discs before the next title ships. Hope that clarifies things for you. XRentDVD
Adult DVD Empire is now renting multi-disc items. If you have a membership, a two disc movie will count as one item in your rental plan. We automatically send you the second disc and there is no additional charge for rental members.
