But then again in BDSM porn the performers are consenting and usually are into it (the dudes getting their nuts kicked, crushed, skewered, castrated etc are often doing it for free). And as far as pornstars stepping on bugs and whatnot it needs to be put into perspective: fear factor with all its live animal crushing and eating by beautiful women was considered daytime tv entertainment 20 years ago; bizarre foods also features plenty of animals being tortured and eaten alive for the viewer's entertainment, then there's naked & afraid where you often see them hurt/kill wild animals etc. I'm not ok with it but I don't believe it's up to porn to be more decent than fucking television. So that kind of graphically horrible smut just takes third place for me.

I think the second place for most brutal shit I've seen is the real psychological pain of performers who didn't sign up for or weren't ready to be humiliated in scenes, and it's not just the obvious/predictable stuff of facial abuse &co (which makes me puke). Even seemingly mainstream/fun sites like canhescore have a few scenes where the (male) performers didn't sign up to be humiliated and IMO really got their feelings hurt/psychologically scarred.

However the worst I've seen was a glimpse of a scene from a JAV DVD series where they booked female pornstars for a hardcore shoot but end up ignoring their safewords/requests to stop and threaten them and make them fear for their lives, proceeding to rape them. A 20-something JAV pornstar getting repeatedly forcefully submerged in a pool, screaming her heart out for help whenever they allowed her to come back up for air. Supposedly the people involved went to prison for it, the studio closed down and they forbid the sale of those DVDs. Maybe I'm being naïve and it's an elaborate hoax made to drive up sales through secondary channels, but it didn't look like an act to me, all I could think was how could they do that to someone's daughter. Not a prude, got nothing against hentai rape fantasies & smut, but what little I saw of it just made me angry.

The most brutal scene? One of the most intense scenes for me is Jessie Rogers in Hardcore Gangbangs. Hard to say.
