What the fuck ! Is the studio's trying to play head game's with us ?
I had seen four trailer's that has been put on DVD extra's, that advertise as a DVD movies, but turn out it hasn't be release or nobody sell it .

Is this a tease that most studio's do to their customer's ?
I think it wrong, and not fair play !!!!!!

Let's all play ball the right way !!

I have noticed this as well, especially on Elegant Angel dvd's. Here's an example, I rented the "Week and 1/2 In The Life Of A Prostite" dvd that Elegant Angel put out (by the way, I found that the VHS version had better picture quality than the dvd, go figure) anyway, they had a trailer for "Cellar Dwellers #2", I looked for it online but couldn't find it, so I emailed Elegant Angel to ask them when it will be released, they told me that they have no plans to release it on dvd in the near future.
Why would they put a trailer for a movie that cannot be found on dvd? It makes no sense to me.

I agree it doesn't make sense to advertise a movie that won't be on dvd any time soon. I think it is ok to advertise for dvds coming out in the next few months and maybe say a certain title will be coming out before the end of the year but specify clearly that it won't be until then. I really don't pay attention to much to trailers and especially on dvd if I can go straight to the movie I will or to the individual chapters so I can pick a scene. DVD is awesome, all VHS people really need to get on board I don't think you will be disappointed to often with dvd.

The sad part is that ALL of these companies are OLD. They were raised on VHS and now you, the DVD customer, is noticing their flaws.

The studios really dont give a shit what they promote to you. They just dump their product out as fast as they can and dont pay attention to what they are showing as a "now on DVD" clip.

The studios ALL need to hire people that KNOW the DVD industry and know what customers want.

Have you ever noticed how the studios put out the OLD OLD OLD movies on DVD before they release the NEWER ones? Like a series thats upto 12 on VHS. They will release 1, then 2 etc etc. They should release them in reverse order because DVD people are usually younder and want to see NEW stars.

That's probably true for most of the studios, but there are several who are day & date with VHS (or relatively close) or who are releasing "newer titles," not just starting from release #1 and working forward (with no hopes of ever catching up). And there are a handful of studios that are extremely serious about puting out good DVD releases, and those are reflected in the top rated DVDs.
