My gf and I have been together for about a year now. Early in our relationship, we limited our imtimacy to oral sex. Later when we began to engage in intercourse, my gf no longer gives or allows me to perform oral sex on her. Any suggestions.

Yes, I've talked to her about it but the only explanation that she will give me is that she doesn't feel like it. Shes never liked giving me head so I can understand that and have no problem with it. On the other hand, she would would always go wild when I went down on her and shes tells me that she still wants it but she won't let me do it anymore. Giving her oral sex is something that I actually enjoy doing so I'm trying to change her mind. Is it just that some women prefer intercourse to oral? We still have sex maybe 4 times a week but I haven't given or received oral in about a month.

hmmm.. I'm sure there are women who prefer intercourse to oral sex, but that doesn't really explain why she wouldn't let you do it, especially since you're probably made it clear that you enjoy it.
I wish I had better advice to give, but I think the only thing you can do is try to get to the bottom of why she's not interested in oral sex by talking with her. "I don't feel like it" is the general excuse for I'm embarrased to talk about it - or something to that effect. Maybe you can make her more comfortable talking about it with a nice dinner at home, a little wine, candlelight, etc.

Thanks Steph, you've been very helpful. I think I'll try to have a deep conversation with her.
Just another question that I've been wanting to ask. For the past couple of months, the few times that she has gone down there shes only been willing to put my testicles in her mouth, shes been reluctant to suck on my shaft. Is this her way of weaning me off oral sex. I could understand if she were worried about me shooting in her mouth but I've never done that. We used a condom for bj or I've always cum in a towel. Thanks again. I can't exactly go to any of my friends for advice since most of them are not in sexual relationships yet.

Is she feeling self-conscious about herself? I've noticed that women act very strangely when they're not feeling right with themselves. On the opposite side, when they are feeling really sexy and gorgeous, they are much more sexual. Has she put on some weight or dealing with stress? Something that might make her feel less sexy? Even if you haven't noticed that she put on 10 pounds... trust me... she has!
As for her only sucking on your balls... I'm not sure at all. Especially if you've never cum in her mouth. Has she gagged on you at all? I could never make it as a woman... I gag from brushing my tongue. So, maybe she's avoiding it. Also, are you keeping everything super clean down there? A long day of heat and sweat can make things a little pungent.

I ditto Oneloa's comments. She could also be having an infection that she's embarrased to admit. cubicle - do you notice any new odors when having sex?
The balls I don't really get either - unless she has TMJ. TMJ is really common, most people don't know they have it. It's some kind of jaw thing that makes it painful to give a blowjob, chew overcooked steak, open the mouth really wide - you get the picture.

Well she hasn't gained any weight lately, we go to the gym together so I see her weighing herself. Don't think its an infection or TMJ.
She gags every once in a while but only when she deep throats. I've become very attentive to my personal hygiene since I've met her and wash very thoroughly down there. Even if we've just showered or we are actually in the shower, its still a no go.
This is something that bothers me a bit but I do love her and will just learn to live without it. Maybe I'm just being selfish but I miss getting blow jobs.

I don't think you're being selfish. There's nothing wrong with asking for an active healthy sex life. If she has a genuine issue with it, and has told you about it then that's different. In this case, she hasn't said anything. And it's not like she never did it....
I'm stumped! I would talk to her about it. Ask her why she won't allow you to go down on her. If you mention her going down on you, she could have any reason (like before), like "I just don't want to...". But, there aren't many excuses she can have about not letting you go down on her. Sooner or later, she'll have to give you a reason. I may be alone in my feeling here, but I think couples owe it to each other to tell them the things they do and don't like in bed.

Talk to her about it, but don't keep thinking about how selfish you're being. You're obviously very committed to this girl if you're willing to live without blow jobs. I'd worry much more about her lack of communication than the oral sex. My first reaction was that she had some kind of disease if she wasn't letting you go down on her. Not to be rude, but how did she react when you used to go down on her? Maybe you're too agressive (since it is something that you admit to enjoy) and she's overly sensitive in some areas. Once again, Communication!

That's really a tuff one. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I have to go with communication as well.
It's so hard to know without knowing her and how she responds to things and why.
I guess if it were me, I would light some candles, lay her down on the bed with me and tell her I would like to talk about sex. ( make sure your smiling and touching her gently, not neccessarily sexually, but caressing ) I'd say, "honey, I've noticed you don't seem to like oral sex anymore and was wondering if there was something I had done wrong?" ( takes pressure and accusation out of the equation )
She will probably give you the, I don't know, I don't wanna talk about it. Persist gently. "I care about you and it seems that something must be wrong for that part of our sex lives to just cease, please talk to me."
I dunno..lol..I hate not being able to help more. Please don't take my scripting the wrong way, but I can only suggest what I assume I would do in that situation.
And by the way...Welcome to ADVD cubicledood!

I have a theory to toss out into the ring and see what the members of this community think. If I read correctly, you said that you and your GF used to have oral sex, but now that you have progressed to full out intercourse that she doesn't want to receive or give?
My theory is that she doesn't like giving oral sex, and she was originally doing it as a prelude to "regular" sex. Not because of anything you did, I just think she wasn't ready to "go all the way" and was limited the relationship to oral sex until she became comfortable.
Now that you two are more intimate, she no longers wants to perform oral sex on you. I can understand this, not everyone likes to do this. However, I suspect that she is a concerned that if you perform oral sex on her, she will feel guilty about not reciprocating for you. In order to avoid feeling guilty about not going down on you, she is attempting to avoid you going down on her.
Unfortunately, I don't have a solution other than those mentioned above. And again, this is only a theory, but it makes sense to my mind. Of course, this is my mind we're talking about and it never did work quite correctly.
Good luck.

Update, we talked in length about the situation. but still don't have a clear explanation for our problem. She wasn't too comfortable talking about it but I think it will happen with time.
Thanks to all for responding.
Astro, I don't think its that I'm being too aggressive while eating her out since she does like to push my face into her. When I can convince to let me do it, its great for both of us.
Lunacy-thanks for the script, didn't happen quite like you described but you were right about the "i don't know" reply
Darkmage - thats an interesting theory, probably some merit to it in my case but I've always told her that I don't expect anything in return when I pleasure her. Shes given me plenty of handjobs without me reciprocating right away so I think it balances out.

darkmage, you are a genious. i was just thinking the same think. okay, from a woman's point of view here. i was in the same boat as you two--my ex and i had great (and lots of) oral sex in our relationship before we moved to sex. but, once we moved to sex, the oral part just kinda wore off. i, too, just did the oral thing to please my man so i wouldn't leave him high and dry, so to speak. but, once we started having sex, the oral part became a little less frequent. i figured that a nut was a nut, so to speak. i would only give head when i wanted to (i actually enjoy doing it), but most of the time i was too wrapped up in jumping straight to sex that i didn't please my man. i use my "i was young, stupid, and selfish" excuse on that. but, i am one of those women who enjoy intercourse more than receiving oral sex. and yes, i would hate when my boyfriend would go down on me b/c i would be feeling pressure to reciprocate. okay, now that i have told you all about me, let me offer some hints about how to help your situation: first, i would emphasize how much you like giving oral to her. tell her that you want to have a night where you pamper her and her only--you don't want her to do anything for you. go for a nice dinner, rent her fav. movie, give her a full body massage, and please her orally--no sex! once she feels comfortable with receiving without giving, she may be more receptive to oral sex. as far as you go, don't pressure her. women give much better blow jobs when they want to rather than ones out of pity or feelings of obligation. if you guys can have frank conversations, ask her what part of giving a bj she doesn't like. perhaps start with her just licking up and down the shaft. a little hershey's syrup definitely helps on that, too! then maybe progress to just sucking the head. i wish you luck! just be patient!

Just had a thought and could use some of your opinions. Could it be a power issue?
I can see how a girl would consider getting on her knees and sucking dick demeaning. We usually do it while I'm on my back but that could still be a submissive position for her. I've always been careful not to ram her head onto my shaft and don't talk dirty to her while shes doing it. No "take it bitch" type comments. Shes likes it when I say that to her during intercourse but I've never said it during a bj.

That would explain why she doesn't like to do it to you, but it still leaves why she doesn't like receiving up in the air.
There could be several reasons why she doesn't want to give blowjobs. You mentioned a good one. It could be the idea turns her off, she doesn't like the taste, she wants to get to the sex faster... They're all valid theories.

Hell like Biggie Smalls says in his newest album release. "If you don't suck we don't fuck". Time to dump her and move onto another woman.

My gal is always down on me and we have great sex as well.
Most times I don't even finish but I always make sure she does.
