The 1985 rape/revenge film Savage Fury with Christy Canyon comes to mind, ABA put it out on one of their triple feature DVD sets but safe to assume it looks pretty bad.

Unusual for a porn film to have the rape/revenge theme that far into the 80s. I think the Japanese poster art is way better than the North American box cover perhaps have it be reversible?

I wonder how these 80s SOV features would do commercially? Most vintage feature fans don't care for the later 80s SOV.

So would we need these porn companies to have kept the video masters stored somewhere in the right conditions over these decades? That is probably a big ask as many of these companies ceased to exist years ago, I wonder how many of the video masters ended up in the trash?

Even when properly stored video tape is a terrible medium over the longterm and the tape starts to flake and fall apart.

My Dad became one of his customers and he would occasionally come home with a porn tape loaded with 6 hours of movies.

One of these tapes had Debbie Does Dallas, Sex Boat and Babylon Pink and since then I have been able to score those three on DVD.

But not October Silk, a terrific flick, that I have always associated with Babylon Pink with one following the other on this tape.

So, October Silk is my pick for now.
