If you are a Jeanna Fine fan checkout the documentary "Rated X - A Journey Through Porn". The documentary was your typical wanna-be film maker decides to do a weak documentary about porno. The movie is pretty boring with one major exception. Through dumb luck and being in the right place and the right time the Jeff Coldwater allowed the guy to follow them around and even shoot scenes for the movie "Velvet" which was actually one of Jeanna's best movies IMHO. He ended up scoring a rare interview with Jeanna. This was shortly after she had a baby and got married. They show her backstage with her husband and the baby. He did a follow up interview with her years later after she had quit and moved to upstate NY. She talked about how she had a really bad relationship with her mother with her mother always calling her fat and ugly. They showed a photo of Jeanna from high school wearing glasses with a kinda jew-fro hairdo and she was kinda pudgy. Jeanna also talked about how she met her husband and her drug problems. She admitted she was working as an escort and at one point looked into the camera and told her fans for $1000 an hour you too could fuck her. Her husband was unemployed and he just sat there while she was talking about being an escort. I think she met her husband when he was a bartender in LA shortly after she got off drugs. Her husband didn't say much. She's had a pretty rough life. I think the segment with Jeanna was only about 20-30 minutes but it was pretty much the best part of the movie and made it worth renting if you are a Jeanna Fine fan. [Link] |
