1-He did porn for 12 years and his now in his mid 30's so maybe he was tired of fucking for a living.
2-Many of the company he worked for are no longer active and maybe that sort of cause him to have a harder time getting hired.
3-He was from New York and may have moved back there so time distance and time difference affects the way you interact with people on the West Coast.
4-He is male performer so it's unlikely that a bunch of other male performers will have any major social media interaction with him and it's not likely to be any better with the women because unless they want to advertise one of their upcoming scenes together then why would they do it.
Ultimately unless you hear from Mikey himself(I assume you never will) then the reason why he left and why you don't hear from him will remain a mystery. On a similar note. The vast majority of performers that leave the industry are never heard from ever again unless they have some kind of interaction with fans or other performers.
