| LadyB Black and Blue, USA 161 Posts 2/05 | Posted - Jul 16 2010 : 4:34PM The problem with the casting for this movie will be that without the right "look" from the get go, it will be much harder to give the impression that is is BtVS being portrayed. In all honesty, I think casting the MEN will be even harder. IMO - the one thing that will have to be decided by the director, is which season of Buffy are you parodying? If you stick to the core (Buffy, Cordelia, Willow, Xander, Giles, Joyce and Angel) it gets much easier to do. Granted, to take advantage of the Joyce/Giles scene in Band Candy ["You had sex on the hood of a police car? Twice?"] you have to introduce Dru and Spike. However, Dawn and even Faith are not really needed in a first installment of a BtVS parody. Just like the show, it has to be allowed to evolve. And you can pretty much skip the absurdity that were season 4 and season 7. Glory and the whole Initiative crap made even die hards like me cringe, can safely be ommitted from the parody series. LOL The good news, is that you can still shoot the exteriors covertly and for free at Hollywood Cemetery, skulking around in the dark just like Whedon and the rest of Mutant Enemy did for the series. Also, who knows, Eliza Dushku may start visiting PSK at Sardo's again, which would make for some awesome cameo opportunities. ;) [Link] |

It is not the greatest of the porn parodies ever made, but it is still an extremely enjoyable film to watch. The sex scenes were cleverly integrated into the story in a way that would be believable in the context of the show it was based on. The sex is well filmed, the vampire make-up and 'dusting' special effects are top notch and there is some quite funny dialogue in there. I would certainly recommend it. [Link] |
