I've always been extremely curious as to what its like on a porn set. When you see the final product, you see two people having passionate heated, extreme sex and the woman is really into it, but I know a lot of this is staged. I just want to know how the directors go about their work. Getting the shots they want, and the positions that they want. What's it like when they call for the "money shot" and how that goes especially if the girl doesn't like that. If anyone can tell me, or knows of a great movie with good behind the scenes footage I would greatly appreciate it.

for me, every star i liked that i have seen behind the scenes of ( not ones they put on dvds that doesnt show anything bad-i mean like documentaries etc) i have lost all interest in her....it ruins the illusions totally. i was a fan of most of the Vivid stars late 90s early 00s but after watching the tv show Porno Valley meh...they looked like they would rather do anything but fuck. so for me, i dont want to know behind the scenes anymore....i like interviews before they fuck..but i dont want to see what its really like. they all have the attitude like, great i got to fuck this asshole for a few hours, im not even horny and he has B.O.. eww ill live just fine with the illusion, as far as im concerned they love cock they love being fucked and there is nothing they want to do more lol yes my head is in the sand

I find actual BTS footage (not the crappy pornstar interviews they call BTS) extremely hot because to me they show the real deal, when some chick interrupts a scene because she needs more lube or is tired of that position and the cameras have to cut, she's not acting, it's the actual person there not the shitty character she plays.
Nope not really. If a women is with me, I want her to like me and enjoy every moment. But watching a women be freaky with a guy she may in reality be disgusted by is a turn on.
I think that some of the BTS stuff seen in some cases gives an honest look at what goes on during a porn shoot and when the cameras are shooting the scenes. There's no one particular way it goes. Sometimes it looks like work, sometimes it looks like fun and everything in between. I've seen times where the girl is having trouble doing the scene and it looks sad and painful and I've seen times when the girl is having a good old time. I like some of the BTS stuff because it's so interesting and can be so different. Some that come to mind are the time a girl was upset with herself because she the guy made her come. She got so into it at one point during the filming she asks the director to back off and let her enjoy it for awhile. Another time the performers were hiding out in the bathroom having sex and the girl was getting anal and they had no intention of being filmed. The camera catches them in the act and just leaves them alone after a minute or so. There's the time when the girl doing make-up starts blowing one of the performers for the heck of it. The time where the girl only blew the guy in the actual movie but in the BTS they're actually having sex in the background. Seeing girls having to stop for various reasons is interesting but the hottest footage to me is when the girl is really enjoying it when it's stuff that obviously won't show up in the actual movie.
First rule of porn: If you don;t want to ruin the "fantasy", never go on a porn set. The typical porn set is the least sexy place you could ever be. LOL I'm not saying it can't be fun, and some scenes are really fucking hot, (Cassidey and Reno's outdoor, rain soaked fuck-ballet up by Rocky Peak for 'The Four' comes to mind. . . .) But for the most part, adult entertainment is a business and business needs to get done. What ends up in the final product comes together in post production. And I have to say I agree that most BTS is pretty damn boring. Who makes up those stupid questions they always seem to ask? I don't really need to hear for the umpteenth time what age the performer was when she lost her cherry. It's worse than the questions some "porn journos" insist on asking over and over again.
Typically those questions can be boring but it all depends on who's being asked. Most girls just give the answers they figure people want to hear or give a dull and typical response. But there are a few girls out there who give interesting/entertaining answers. I'm a fan of BTS stuff even though a lot of it is dull. I tend to like to see the out-takes or stuff that happens during the sex scenes that don't end up in the final version. And I like to see the performers just doing whatever they do at the shoots and just being people not "performing".
Watching a lot of porn and a lot of BTS gives you a fairly good idea of what it's like. You become good at reading the performers, and get a sense of the overall vibe on set. Gonzo by directors/porn fans seems to be the most real, while more mainstream stuff is more about production than people enjoying sex, more for couples who don't want it real but as an exciting fantasy. I never watch the BTS portion because; 1, I like the way chicken tastes, but I really don't need to take a tour of a chicken farm/slaughter house before hand. 2, Most of the interview questions are so god awful lame/repetitive. 3, most of the girls don't know how to answer a simple question, without a look away to someplace else in the room, and then says, "Ummm, I like sex, that's why I'm doing porn!"
I don't really care about the stupid questions and interviews. I'm just interested in seeing how everything is done form the directors persepctive. The behavior of the actors during breaks, and justa ll of the little nuances that go into making a good scene that we aren't aware of.

It's just like any other film set except instead of acting, they're fucking. Start, stop, adjust, relight, switch postions, start, stop, rinse, repeat.
I sometimes like to watch Behind the Scenes. Its exciting to see how they do the porn. I like it when the actors are getting told what they have to do, how they prepare for the fuck.
Now that streaming has become the norm for scenes does anyone other than DOGFART even shoot BTS footage? One of the things about DVDs was that many studios used to include BTS footage and it was interesting and often fun to watch. Nowadays BTS seems to be mostly a thing of the past.

The suze.net stuff was mostly softcore pictorials/galleries but also featured video footage of the on-set action as they were taking those pictures including for the rarer hardcore shoots. During those photoshoots, instead of having sex the male model would get fluffed, stick his dick in the female model and freeze/pose. You'd hear the director instructing the male to stick it in deeper or pull it back a bit and hold it etc. In those circumstances, where the models were supposed to pose rather than fuck it was hot to see that they still sometimes would fuck in between breaks/pauses in the shoot.
