Devon, Shawna Lenee, Katie Morgan.
Those are one of my favourite pornstars of all time. The thing about them what keeps me wondering is following. Devon has never officialy retired but she has shoot only for couple of scenes in last couple of years. Shawna Lenee has already retired several times and returned to porn industry. Katie Morgan was also retired and came back recently also just to shoot couple of scenes on not such a regular basis. Don't get me wrong, but where is the point of returning only to shoot 2 or 3 scenes per year. Yeah, I might be egoist cos I would like that my favourite pornstars shoot more regulary, but I just cann't understand the buissnes behind it on the other hand. I don't know if I made my point correctly so please don't missjudge me.
If one knows the story/answer, please bring forward...

Katie Morgan has shot A TON of scenes since she came back! Check her IAFD page and you'll see a laundry list of scene she's shot in the last two years.
Devon shot a few dozen new scenes from 2012-2014 when she came back. Again check her IAFD page. As for why she stopped again, she's 41 years-old and probably never intended to keeping shooting indefinitely. No one does porn forever.
I don't know where you got the idea that these girls didn't shoot regularly. Even if they didn't shoot enought to your liking, they don't control how much they get booked. it's up to directors to hire them. Plus, thanks to piracy, no on shoots as much as they used to anymore. There are less movies being made they back in those girls heyday.

As fow Shawna I admit that I was not aware she got birth to 2nd child.
For Katie I certinly haven't done my homework right.
As for Devon I get your point in a way but not completly. She definetly is still gorgeous. Acctres at age of 41 are certainly not old not to get booked. I believe that she still has enough fan base for directors to book her. She could definetly go Brandi Love, Julia Ann route, those type of acctresses who will always have thier fan base. Julia is also 7 years older then Devon and just recently stopped boy/girl scenes. Although It is very much lack of haedcore action from her after she shoot Gangbanged 4. I think she never shoot another anal scene afterwards. Not that I am complaining.
