It seems like i-candy (the company) has been releasing the classics on dvd at the rate of like one title a year. They have to be the slowest at releasing movies I have ever seen.
They have a some good titles listed in the future releases section, but by the time they get around to it I'l be like 80 years old.
What's the deal with them?, did they just give up and sell the rights of these movies to somebody else? I also noticed the quality of the discs has gone way down since they started. The first few releases were good (Up N' Coming etc), but Private Fantasies #3 had one of the worst menus I've seen, especially compared to their earlier releases.
Anybody know what's going on with them? It's a shame that there are some quality classics gathering dust and not being released on dvd.

I believe that after a break in that occurred where masters were stolen, I-Candy went bankrupt and out of business, I could be wrong on this issue though.

I'm pretty sure that their latest release (Marilyn Chambers Private Fantasies #3 released maybe 4 months ago-I'm just guessing here) came out a long time after their loss of the master tapes, and that they were re-aquiring them so they could keep on releasing discs.
It's a shame that all those great titles listed on their site are going to waste not being released.

It looks like you're right. Maybe this means they'll be releasing those Johnny Wadd titles they have I'm waiting for.

I hope they speed up the process though, it's much too long in between releases, and the quality of the discs (menu etc.) has been steadily declining on the last couple of dvd's.

According to astro they're out of business.
