Click to expand Actualy, Stern was recoginzied for not backing down against the FCC and paying the fines and keeping things going in the face of persecution. When did O&A do that? Opie & Anthony basicially got fired for recording/broadcasting/instigating people having sex in St. Patrick's Cathederal. They haven't made much of an ongoing free speech effort, and their fame is nowhere near as far reaching as Stern's. And don't be confused or misled that all of this has to do entirely with merit. There's a fair amount of starfucking going on, and O&A aren't that big of stars to warrant big attention. Their appearance at AEE last year, while welcome, certainly didn't cause the show floor to stop, as I'd bet an appaearance by Stern would have. What exactly does FoundryMusic bring to the table? Links to buy adult product? I like O&A as much as the next guy (well, unless the next guy shelled out to get an XM radio because of them... I passed; I stuck with Usenet.) [Link]

O&A will continue to "dabble" in the world of porn due to the fact that Jim Norton and Steve C have friends in the industry. But Fishbein started going on Stern's show way back when AVN was still being published in Pennsylvania. It makes no sense for AVN to disassociate itself with Stern (which is exactly what would happen if they were to do anything with O&A, because they would become persona non grata with Stern), especially when O&A really have no interest in being porn posterboys (much to the chagrin of Jim & Steve). They will be in Vegas this week broadcasting from CES on Thursday and Friday, just like last year. However, last year they did a show from AEE on Saturday. That won't be happening this year. [Link]

It appears all the feature companies are on the verge of totally rebuilding. According to rumors with the exceptions of Lexie Marie and Monique Alexander(who haven't done much of anything) all Vivid girls have either retired or are about to leave. Wicked is down to Stormy Daniels and all the J's that are getting up in age. The BIG name to look for is Austyn Moore. Her 12 month contract with Adam & Eve ends this year. Look for a bidding war to break out for her with all the big feature companies loosing girls left and right. 2.Where will Aurora Snow or Jenna Haze land with what company? - Isn't Aurora Snow under contract to a gonzo company? Jenna Haze appears to be an unofficial Evil Angel exclusive. 3.Who's going to be the breakout star of 2006? - I don't think we know the breakout gonzo girls name yet. It's going to take a girl that comes in with a business plan and doesn't get locked in with 1 of the current agents. As for the feature side as I said for question #1 Austyn Moore is gonna have a big year. 4.Who's are going to be the new faces in porn to look out for of 2006? - Look for Jasmine Byrne and Courtney Cummz to continue rising. 5.What's Company is breaking out or sell more untils in 2006? - Of course the DP/Adam & Eve 2nd collaboration will sell. Playboy Radio no longer exists. Regardless, Playboy radio failed on XM when is was a premium channel. I can't imagine KSEX having any more success on satellite than Playboy Radio did. [Link]

Last Thursday, Sirius announced that Playboy radio will join Sirius sometime during the first quarter of 2006. [Link]

She and Jules are close, I saw them at Circle Bar together and he led her over by the hand. I think you all should look out for Carmen Hart. She's a Wicked girl and is quite exceptional looking. Also MariPossa is now an Adam and Eve contract girl. Watch out for her new movies. 'Tailgunners' by Adam and Eve is coming out this year and I think it will be big. [Link]
coolpaul Member 14 Posts 12/05	Posted - Jan 11 2006 : 6:05PM from what i hear tho, the expo they had here in new york last may wasnt all that great anyway. i never even made it. granted, new york doesnt have luxury casinos and in january it can get a little nippy, but in terms of market size, a full blown vegas style aee in new york would rock! and more importantly, most importantly!!!- it would save me the price of the plane and hotel.
