I just got the chance to look at this movie (and yes I am aware of its shortcomings, to put it mildly). I checked up on it via dexplorer's accurate review, but it is not the actual content of the disc that I am confused about - nor do I wish to dispute its quality or lack thereof - but rather the content that appears to be missing, if you are still with me! Is there something wrong with my player, or have the scenes with, among others, Kelli Dean and Barrett Moore (and Dick Nasty, thank god!) been ommitted from the disc? The running time is VERY short - 2hrs are claimed but it's more like 1.

If you have had the mixed blessing of seeing Backstage Sluts #2, or know about what's up with it, please comment!

OK, obviously most of you have been wise enough to give this one a miss.
But if you are interested, I spent some time raking around in the various chapters and my DVD software eventually came up with a bigger list of chapters during the interview footage, thus permitting access to scenes that are skipped over when playing the movie from the start. Either something is up with my software or they made a mistake when authoring the disc.
To dexplorer - if you read this, I can understand why you didn't persist with this movie when you saw it, but there IS more sex footage on there. There is simply a fault with the chapter set up, I think - though you should be glad this prevented you from seeing Dick Nasty in action. UUURGH!

I just purchased a copy of this title and I am wondering exactly how to access this "extra footage" as mentioned by Gabriel Nine. I just simply cannot find it. I can find extra interview footage but not extra sex footage. Can anyone help me?

I am sorry, I don't have this disc any more, but as I recall I looked at the chapter menu when watching the interview footage, which showed chapters that were otherwise inaccesible. The only other option I can think of is to look at the files on the disc using your PC (e.g. in Windows Explorer) and play them individually till you find the "hidden chapters".

Thanks for your reply Gabriel Nine, but I still cannot find the "extra footage", and as I don't have DVD-Rom I cannot find it on my PC. The scene I am after in particular is a threeway betwwen Lynn Strait from the band Snot and two groupies. Does anyone else have this title?

For whatever you think of the short comings of Backstage Sluts 1 or 2, you have to give them credit for attempting to bridge this gap. Matt Zane has gotten all the accolades with being the inovator behind this when the real person pulling the strings was Jef Hickey the former editor of New Rave magazine and also the former husband to aTiffany Million. Jef spent over ten years on the road toiuring with various heavy metal and punk bands before journeying into adult. And he was the one with all the rock connections. Matt was simply there and did the actual filming of the sex acts, which were really sub-par. Matt has been interviewed by Rolling Stone, Maxim, Stuff, Metal Hammer and tons of other mainstream publications, where he goes to great length to talk about all he did to be the innovator in this bridging or Rock and Porn. Never once mentioning that Jef came to him with the idea, set up ALL the bands, introduced Matt to all the music people that he currently hangs out with and is touring with. Then Matt tried to pay Jef off to hush him up. Matt Zane is all hype... and the sad part about it is that he believes his own hype. matt didn't have a clue who Insane Clown Posse were. A rich kid with an attitude. Rage against the Kornfield!!

The scene you are thinking of with the late great Lynn Strait of Snot was actually a girl named Tangerine and his girlfriend Daisy Chain, who went on to do girl/girl movies and just recently did a few boy/girl scenes for Elegant Angel. She can also be seen in the video by Strait Up called Angel's Son. For those that have not checked out Strait Up here is a review from Amazon.com:

Snot singer James Lynn Strait had a lot of friends, if this intensely emotional tribute is any indication. Strait died in a December 1998 car accident, with Snot on the verge of breaking big, thanks to critical kudos and a stint on Ozzfest '98. Strait Up features a dozen of heavy rock's most prominent singers, including Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Korn's Jonathan Davis, Incubus's Brandon Boyd, and Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath paying homage to the late frontman. In 1998, Snot's Mikey Doling and John "Tumor" Fahenstock had music awaiting lyrics from Strait, who passed away before beginning the album. So the singers on Strait Up wrote their own lyrics to Snot's heavy music and recorded with the surviving members of Snot. The results are impressive. System of a Down's Serj Tankian offers up a eulogy in "Starlit Eyes": "The first to accept, the last to disappoint / Now you are free to roam the skies." Slipknot's Corey Taylor turns in a melodic but aggro "Requiem," singing: "I see the loss every time someone says your name." But it's the mellow emotion exuded by Sevendust's Lajon Witherspoon in "Angel's Son" that is the standout on a powerful album full of poignant triumphs. --Katherine Turman

Put the DVD on your player and wait for it to load.
Press STOP and STOP again, thus disabling the resume function.
Press DISPLAY.
The screen will show a simplified menu with all the chapters and titles.

Some players may have a different way to access the chapters, this is the procedure of the Pioneer DV-333.

Thanks Planet Sex...I found all the chapters...the "Chapter Index" on the menu of this disc only has 9 chapter selections when there is in fact 21 chapters on the disc...
