Ten years ago, if I was was looking for a new DVD, I could go to any adult DVD shop and purchase virtually any new DVD and it would have many if not all scenes include anal sex. Over the last five years or so there has been a steady decline in the number of new starlets coming into the biz who are doing anal sex regularly, and many who had, like Missy Stone, are now leaving or have left porn. Whether it was stars like Aurora Snow, Flick Shagwell, Molly Rome, Crystal Rae, Paris, Sapphire Rae, Vanilla Skye, Allison Whyte, or others, years ago I could watch almost any DVD I wanted with new young talent and have a vid be full of fantastic anal sex scenes. But not anymore. Why are the European and Russian anal sex videos thriving and we can't get any decent anal sex content in our North American videos? Why are we posting threads asking about so and so's first anal and when it's going to happen, when we should be getting these scenes right after they come into the biz. Is anyone out there going to fix this?

I wonder why more companies dont go over there to film, then bring their product back to the pervs here at home in the US? I would love to see a Jules Jordan or Justin Slayer flick filmed in Europe.
^ Some European countries, like Russia for example, have laws against making porn movies. This law isn't enforced against some local porn makers who probably pay bribes. But an American company would be on shaky ground there. They would attract a lot of attention, and the police might feel the need to enforce the anti-porn law against foreigners just to make themselves look good in public. A lot of countries allow prostitution but prohibit making porn movies. There really isn't any country anymore where porn makers feel entirely free to make their porn movies. The number was always pretty small compared to those that stayed overseas. Well i am a member of 21sextury too and it seems to suffer of something too, not sure if it is not enough money or what, but the quality has gone down there too. The weekly scenes come late or not at all. Their Russian production stuff sometimes stops updating for a few weeks and then a few updates and then a few week pause again. Also their DP site seems to release a scene once every 2 week nowadays and then the backstage video on the following week. Also their othersites update less frequently.

Dan: With the utmost respect (and no offense intended), your "logic" on this topic is way off base. The question was "What's with the massive decline in anal sex scenes?" It has NOTHING to do with European actresses not being able to work in the US. It has to do with supply and demand. These companies are out to make money. If the demand is for all anal, then there would be more anal scenes being produced. When there is a gap in a free market society, businesses move to fill that void to capitalize on the money that can be made. Adam Smith 101. The reason why there's less anal now is because there's less porn being made. Why should anal be any different than standard b/g. I think the percentage of anal vs other kinds of porn is probably the same as a few years ago and will remain the same. It's just that we will see a decline of all kinds of porn including anal as long as people have no issue with getting their porn fix from tube sites and torrents sites.
