I have seen anal in 70s porn, i have seen anal in 80s porn, but, the director i have personally seen make it a consistent thing was Gregory Dark in the peak of his carreer (please feel free to correct me....) and clam digger, no offense intended, but, when you have personally heard the honest reaction of pounding a lady anally then you will not think anal sex is degrading. Stagliano must be mentioned, and not just because he called himself "Buttman". Actually, I've probably seen more consistent anal in Gregory Dark's films than Stagliano's pre-European casts. When exactly did anal take over porn though? There were the old-school gonzo guys in the 90s, such as Max Hardcore and Ben Dover, who moved a ton of product focused entirely on anal sex.
