Several recent viewings have brought me to the point of asking questions about large, fake breasts. To be more specific, about obviously fake, ridiculously large, plastic looking, often immovable and way-out-of-proportion-with-the-rest-of-their-body breasts. So here is the question and the follow up - Is there a serious attraction to women who have had this done and if so, why?
I should mention that I have been watching porn since the theatre days of the 1970's but due to a relationship that frowned on such things, I missed most of the balloon-breast years of the 1990's and settled back into adult entertainment in 2002. Case in point - when I "took a break" from porn, Tori Welles was an A-cup.
Upon my introduction to the DVD generation, it seemed natural was coming back into style and all is well with the world. Even the larger naturals look fantastic - Gianna, Amy Reid, Brandy Taylore, Sara Stone, etc.,
I recently watched two DVD's - "Young Devon" featuring, well, a young Devon and "The Whore Next Door" featuring Kylie Ireland . The movies have merit for what they are - an early career compilation and a former contract girl getting nasty. What I simply couldn't understand as I was watching these DVD's is who finds these over-sized, immovable breasts attractive? To me, they detract from the sheer beauty of both of these women. In fact, I find the pair of them to be among the most attractive in porn - with their clothes on . I'd put Briana Banks in that category as well (If you've seen the documentary and book "Thinking XXX", take a look at Briana with and without clothes - which one would you rather look at?). The most recent Pam Anderson is yet another example.
I know the place in history that these women hold and I am not attempting to diminish their accomplishments, sex appeal or careers. I am simply trying to understand the attraction of breasts that are so grossly out of proportion with the rest of their body? Can anyone help me out?

First I would say that I think Kylie Ireland is a poor example for your point. Sure her implants put her figure at the top end of the natural range but she's got the frame to carry it off. She may be big-breasted, perhaps even unnaturally big, but she has never looked absurdly unnatural in the way that Devon and others certainly do. But even if I disagree with that particular example I certainly understand your general point.
So why do so many porners spout those unnatural, comic-book-grotesque chests? Of course, love of large (natural) breasts seems to be hardwired into male sexual desire. For some people this tips over into a fetish for ever-larger, ridiculously over-sized and unnatural-looking breasts. But that doesn't explain why this minority fetish has had such an impact on porn generally.
As an ordinary porn fan myself, I'd hate to have to say that it's because so many ordinary porn fans are inadequates and misogynists with an unrealistic image of women who can only relate to a woman if she has turned herself into a barbie doll caricature for the delight of men. But I sadly suspect that is a big part of it.
On the other side, exposure to porn certainly shifts the average viewers porn preferences over time. For some, the experience of moderately-sized enlargements arouses the desire for larger-still fake tits. For many of the rest, the slightly over-sized implants slowly inure them to the cartoon-sized breasts. That is enough to drive the studios to use ever-larger breasted porners. Eventually, when it reaches the sort of Wendy Whoppers/Tiffany Towers dimensions of the early nineties, there is nowhere else to go, the absurdity of it becomes obvious to all but the hardcore fetishist, and (if you will forgive the phrase) the bubble bursts. We still live among the ruins of that movement for ever-more unnaturally top-heavy porners - in the girls still working who came through then; in the perception of what porn requires that exists in the minds of the new girls, and of directors and distributors; in the remnants of an audience that still exists for that sort of porn.
Finally there is the practical fact that may porners come to the profession through dancing. In a strip club, without the close-ups of porn, over-sized breasts do not look so absurd.
Doubtless there are a dozen more reason too, but those are the ones that seem important to me now.
I honestly don't know why women do this to themselves. It almost always looks fake and has never turned me on in the slightest.
One of my major turn ons is watching the way the girl's breasts move and if they aren't natural, it just isn't the same.
Honestly, I don't really care that much about breast size. Sure, it's cool and all if she has big knockers but it definitely isn't necessary for me to be turned on.
Of course, some women have there own personal reasons for doing it (and not just to be more popular in the industry). But for heaven's sake...don't do it just to impress the viewers! I don't think there are really that many men who are turned on by fake breasts anyway. They may initially be attracted until they realize they aren't real. Most are more likely to be turned off by them......or indifferent. Why alter your body in such a drastic way just to please a small minority?
Thank you John Thomas for a well written, thought out response. I had not considered many of your points. Kylie does have the figure to carry the bulk on her chest, but why choose breasts that look like they were chisled in stone and move just as easily?
I also agree with what RandomPrecision wrote in that I also like to watch the way the girl's breasts move and if they aren't natural, it just isn't the same.
However, I'm not anti-breast augmentation. It works beautifully on many women. What I oppose is when women make a cartoon charicacure of themselves by mutilating themselves. Pam Anderson is NOT Barbed Wire, not matter how grossly large she augments her breasts.
Interestingly, I just watch the movie ÆON FLUX and the first disc of animated series ÆON FLUX that ran on MTV in the mid-1990's. The cartoon character Æon Flux is a typical, barbie doll caricature complete with gravity defying breasts the size of basketballs. Interestingly, in the movie which used real people, Charlize Theron played Æon Flux. She looked fantastic - strokable throughout. Ms. Theron has a natural chest that is simply devine - think Teagan before breast implants. Just imagine that they chose Devon for that role. Quite simply, Devon has one of most beautiful faces in porn, but since her body has been altered beyond that of a real woman, I simply cannot see her doing most of the stuff Æon Flux does in the movie. The human body doesn't work that way. Question, has Devon or Kylie or Briana ever run in a movie?
So, come on guys who like these type of breasts -- ARE YOU OUT THERE? Are there any women who care to respond? I'd love to get Devon, Briana or Kylie in this discussion but I do not know if they ever contribute (like Kami, Marie Luv, or Mia Rose - hey gals).

I generally like fake boobs. I think it's a bad idea in certain instances, but most of the time it's an improvement.
I think Daphne Rosen's boob job is freakish and disgusting. Definitely a bad idea.
I hope to God that Sativa Rose never does it. That would be a crime.
If Taryn Thomas gets hers done, as she's talked about, I think that's probably a good idea, especially if she decides to stay in the industry. I haven't followed that thread lately, so I'm not sure if she's definitely leaving or what.

First, I'm guilty as charged all the stars on the top of my list have been enhanced. In terms of explaining the appeal of boob jobs, 'fake vs. real' is besides the point the real issue is 'big vs. small.' Big breasts on the cultural-symbolic level accentuate gender differences and connote femaleness. Or another way to think of it is that large breasts on a female body signfy non-maleness. Larger breasted female bodies, put an exclamation point if you will on those gender differences making big breasts a highly valued attribute from a cultural standpoint.
That said, I think all varieties of the female form small/big real/fake are beautiful.
I think that some of the women who end up with really fake looking boobs, but who are not along the Wendy Whoppers line, get them because they don't know what to expect going into surgery.
You have to remember that these are young, not well educated, women. They go into the Dr.'s Office and are asked how big they want to be. They get to play around with some silicon bags and look at video imaging of what they will look like. The emphasis is much more on the size of the breast and how they will look like with clothes or bikinis on than the overall shape and natural look of the breast.
I think that some of the better Doctors are good about telling a girl how far her skin can stretch and still look natural, but then you have girls who may not be good at listening to that and other Doctors who either don't explain that or are not good at explaining.
You have to think about this from the girl's perspective. Especially if she is small busted to begin with she has grown up for several years dreaming about being as busty as the bustiest girls at school or in the movies. Most of the tits she compares herself to are clothed. She is not nearly the tit connoisseur that the average porn viewer is. She goes in with a cup size in mind and comes out with that cup size. Whether her frame or skin can handle it are so secondary that they might not even be factors.
Another thing you have to consider is just plain bad surgeons. Not everyone is at the top of their class. There are plenty of bad surgeons out there and we get treated to their efforts every day.

Getting back on point, I love big breasts as well. That is not my point - so let me try again - I look at stunningly beautiful women like Devon, like Pamela Anderson, like Kylie Ireland, etc., and I follow the curves of their toes up their succulant legs, up, up, up onto the middle regions where I pause for an hour or so, dulled by the absolute beauty. There might be an issue rooted in the LARGE scars under the breasts of the women pioneers who initially took 400 cc's of silicone, saline or cement (or whatever else they were using). Watching porn, there was a turn-on "shut-off" the minute I saw that scar. The question is why?
I'm going to surmise that I am a bit older than your average reader/contributer of this forum. While wisdom and age don't always go hand in hand, life experience has a way of kicking you over and over no matter how much you try and be in control. The entrance into the world of adult movies is not what it used to be. Also, like I said, I don't even really care about size. Leah Luv hardly has any tits at all and is still very fuckable (I can't imagine any man in his right mind turning her down).
I guess things like this just further demonstrate why it's so hard to make really good porn. Everybody is different. Things that might turn one viewer on will turn another completely off. It's got to be extremely difficult to make porn with something for everyone in every scene.

Shawna Edwards: I've seen her called "horse face", yet her third or fourth iteration did it for me. Not sure where she's at now.
Catalina: Yeah, Max's Catalina. She looks a lot better. Never mind the crap.
Julie Rage: White trash looking, but very nicely proportioned, and they didn't look like bolt ons too much.
Julie Meadows: Liked the before and after, actually. Prolly a little bit more after the job.
Kaylynn: Nice job, and with her expanding butt, it looks good.
A few I hated:
Aja: My favorite in the eighties got herself done, and I didn't like the results.
Jeanna Fine: One of the most ultimate sexual woman I have ever seen. That was unneeded.
Shay Sweet: Could have made a lot more money than she did in the business if she played her cards right. She'll be paying for that for years.

I love seeing the bag ripple! I think some of you forget to remember that this could be/is a niche/fetish for some people like myself. You do not have to like it, buy it or rent it. I don't like creampie or swallowing movies! But some people do so I don't knock it. Anyhow the type of fake boobs bigfoot is talking about are pretty long gone for the most part.

As someone who isn't a "breast man" or "butt man", more of a "everything about a woman man", my personal perspective is that I simply like what I like. There are times when I don't mind breast enhancement and there are times when I can't help but be distracted by what I consider to be either overly large implants or poorly executed enhancement.
I'm afraid I can't offer insight into attraction to bigfoot's original post asking about serious attraction to women who have significantly out of proportion implants but I think it's as simple as any other attraction in that it's a personal thing. It's a physical trait that for whatever reason "floats their boat". I also would add that simply because someone likes a thing like large implants as a viewer, it may not mean they like it as a participant. I've never had the opportunity to experience what an implant feels like but from what others have said, it doesn't feel like a natural breast.
I have seen women with slight small implants look terrible, and some with bigger implants look pretty good. The worst thing about implants - no matter how natural they might look, as soon as she lies on her back, it becomes obvious they are fake. I have never seen a pair of implants that look real when she is lying on her back.
There ARE rare times that a performer actually improves in appearance after an implant. I think Hillary Scott is a perfect example.
