| coffeycurve Member 30 minutes from the beach, the desert and the mountains 29 Posts 2/02 | Posted - Dec 6 2002 : 8:23PM if you have a problem with a particular title or studio in general, i would suggest emailing them directly so that they know that these problems don't go unnoticed by the general public. qc is a huge issue for the dvds i'm involved with. on the mainstream end of things, we even go so far as to outsource the qc to a company that does only that and then reports back to us. of course the price for the qc alone on mainstream titles is as much as the entire budget for some of our adult dvd titles, so obviously qcing adult stuff the way mainstream stuff gets done is out of the question, but we still have at least 2 people other than the author qc all of our titles and stuff still gets by us. but it's usually minor things, not chapter buttons going to the wrong scene, that's completely unacceptible and means that they're just not watching it before it goes out.
