Classics from the golden era like Taboo 1& 2 (among others); they all had it to some extend. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's something from the past, ....BUT, When & Why was it not done all of a sudden? Who were the pioneer directors that said, enough = enough. Does somebody know something about this transition from corny background music to no background audio AT ALL? Just curious, that's all. [Link] |

But the later porn was made by newbies with no Hollywood experience, using the newly-invented camcorders, figuring everything out on-the-fly and inventing their own styles. To the newbies, starting fresh, background music was unnecessary hassle/expense/luxury, so it got dropped. [Link] |
