Hi, everyone!

I'm a newbie in this forum and would really like to know where I can get adult DVDs directly in Sydney, Australia? Are there any shops selling these stuffs over here? I don't have a credit card so does that mean ordering them online is out of question? My favourite series are Gangbang Auditions, Down The Hatch, I Swallow, etc. you know, all the cum-related videos. All help and advice are much appreciated! Thanks.

Hoping,

You can check out the adult shops, there's a Club X in Pitt St which had a good choice, also and Adult Book Exchange in Chinatown but can't remember the exact address, I'll check...

I imagine your options are to either buy direct from Adult Bookstores (ie Club X, etc), though you'll be paying a LOT more then if you ordered online.

- With the AU$ the way it is at the moment I'm happily buying titles for about AU$25 each that would cost $50-75 from Australian retailers.

The other option without a credit card is to order from AXIShop etc ie the Australian Mail-order places, though as far as what they have in stock and what they'll charge your guess is as good as mine. Also expect for whatever extras the DVDs would have to be stripped out of them. (footage, interviews, backstage stuff, etc etc)

What you might want to look into doing is to get a Visa Debit card with your (or a) bank. Essentially an ATM card that also has a Visa function, so that you can only spend what's already in there and so therefore you can't go into debt.

either way, good luck.

cheers,

KAOS shop will supply by mail within Australia, and they have a lot of the recent titles that get mentioned in these forums.

I have only used credit card with them, but their catalog says they accept money order, personal cheque, bank cheque and C.O.D.

They take online orders at www.kaosshop.com.au or phone orders on 1800-11-6969. (the site appears to be down today, perhaps try later)

Their prices are around $A19 to $A29 for most titles, and I have had no problems when ordering from them.

hope this helps.

Hey they have some Uromania and Street and Panty Pissers!

Did you order any from those series from them? Licensed copies or originals?

Given that the governments here don't really seem to approve of the whole "hardcore" experience, it is increasingly tough to find a good place to buy porn in Sydney (or anywhere outside of Canberra, I guess).

Along Oxford Street in Darlinghurst there are a few good places. I haven't actually shopped there (yet!), but the ToolShed ("Adult Concepts") looks fairly well-stocked.

Really though, as people mentioned here, all the Adult Bookshops are the only places to go in Sydney. As I said, Oxford Street Darlinghurst has quite a few (shame that Adultshop.com.au store closed there, but we still have the online counterpart). I tend to do most of my shopping online, though.

The site appear to be very unstable and unreliable, sometimes you get it sometimes not or you get a couple of pages and then it freezes...

I'll try again next week there is some good stuff at low prices!

I can recommend the Adult Book Exchange in Chinatown, I think it's on Little Hay St.

Hey any of you guys interested in exchanging DVDs?

Bawdy.

Oh, yeah - I know where that is...

"Exchanging DVDs". Hee hee hee...I know I shouldn't, but I always get a little squeamish about the idea of "used porn". :)

I have ordered a few SPP titles from them, but bought the VHS versions rather than the DVDs (price much lower at that time). More recently I have bought DVDs direct from SG video, as Kaos only had the older titles.

The quality of the tapes I have from Kaos is very good, and all the original SG copyright notices are in place. The genuine SG box covers are used. I'm not sure if the duplication is done in Australia or not. The cassettes are fairly generic looking.

If you register with them, they wil send you a printed colour catalog every couple of months.

Thank you for your answer.

I think I'll make an order with them within a month or so, mostly fisting stuff...

Doubt the tapes are duplicates - when I've ordered discs from Kaos, they've always been US or European originals. That applies to Uncutdvd.com.au as well, except they're super-pricey buggers, but they may have what you want Licker, and they have introduced a bulk-buying discount which makes a lot of sense.

I will never, ever buy from adultshop.com or axisshop.com again. Their product is just crap compared to what we should be getting for our hard-earned.

Hey Licker,

Thanks U for recommending Kaos Shop. I bought a few DVDs and they are great quality movies and cheap too. The prices are much cheaper than the other shops in Australia. They've got a new site up and running and more new titles. Easy to shop online too. They do exchanging DVDs and Videos. They'll give you 50% off for exchange but only the DVDs and Videos that you bought from Kaos Shop.
I registered with them and they send me a printed colour catalogue every couple of months. And also i subscribed Kaos Shop Email Newsletter. Kaos sends out email newsletter whey they have new releases, bargains or promotions.

I definitely recommend Kaos Shop (http://www.kaosshop.com.au)

Thanks again Licker.

DVDS are now 50 per cent off in Club-X stores in Sydney. Some DVDs are 70 per cent off.

In the end you'll generally pay 25-30 Australian dollars per DVD which is pretty good.

I don't know if Club-X stores in other cities offer they same deals...

Is that all DVD's across the board?

I've never been brave enough to walk into a Club X - something about them looks creepier even than the most sordid Soho shops. Still, if the deals are that good...

Let's be honest though - Kaos shop are still over-priced. There's still no sense in buying from them if you can get it cheaper from adultdvdtoday and adultdvdnow, especially with the latter's coupons. When they did their 'buy six get three free deal' it made them almost on par with US retailers and it was worth buying from them. Rumours are they will introduce coupons similar to adultdvdnow but only to the tune of 15-20%. If you get an evil angel disc from them, which they price at $49, and dock 20%, you still end up paying $39.10, when you could just be paying 30 bucks using coupons at one of the cheaper overseas joints.

They are, quite simply, the best bet within Australia, but they would want to get that little bit cheaper to be a better bet than Adultdvdtoday or Adultdvdnow.

Yes it's all DVDs at least 50 per cent off. RLD are $25 after discount and a few very latest releases RLD at $30, Evil Angel are $30 after discount most other DVDs are $25 except for some Vivid at $20 and a few other not very good titles bellow $20 I think I saw a Mojo DVD at $7 or so...

Hmm.. here in Melb Club X did have a sale, but it's just ended on the first of this month.

They had a sliding scale of discounts depending on how many you bought, ie 1=20% off, 2=25% off, 3=30% off, 4=40% off, 5+=50% off. Although their "dvd only" shop that has a different name "Harmony" and tries hard to avoid the sordid look simply had 50% off everything, though again that ended last week.

Ultrasiet, Club X (at least in melb) aren't especially seedy, they're actually pretty clean overall and you can just expect to see the regular range of plastic toys, bunch of magazines and videos/dvds. Just a standard smut shop and far less dodgy inside then many I've been in

cheers,

scipio
