Most of the early Nu-Tech classic releases included commentary by Jim Holiday & Jill Kelly. I'd recommend Nothing To Hide, which has an excellent picture transfer.[Link] |

Jim Holiday knows his stuff, but unless he is being asked questions, he doesn't know what to say. And Jill Kelly? She is obviously smart, but her lips are sealed. The lady won't talk! Terrible commentary team. Holiday would be good. And so might Jill Kelly. | The Wanderer All-Star Member 192 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Jan 13 2002 : 4:16PM NuTech have demonstrated with other classic releases that they won’t shy away from controversial subject matter, so I find the apparent censorship of Easy rather surprising. In the same movie, there are a couple of other scenes with suggestions of under-age sex and coercion, which were apparently left intact. Richard Pacheco says “I’m only 17” before forcing Jessie St. James to strip at knifepoint! Later on, Georgina Spelvin attacks Jessie St. James in another ‘forced sex’ scene. I’d like to believe that the movie was pre-cut before NuTech became involved, except they appear to have also tampered with the commentary track. I noticed on a few occasions Holliday’s comments were deleted mid sentence, an example of which can be found during the above scene when he’s discussing the school location with Jill Kelly. Voices can be heard in the background to the scene, which sound like they were recorded in a real High School. Holliday then says “We’re not supposed to tell anybody…..[silence].….school”. Perhaps these were technical glitches, although they are placed far too conveniently and occur too often my liking. If someone from NuTech wants to participate in the forum and set the record straight, then I’m sure we’d all be interested to hear from them. What we really need is for Jim Holliday to share his wealth of knowledge. Or Peter van Aarle, who compiled most of the stats in the IAFD and recently posted here for the first time. I didn’t make it clear in my earlier post, but I recommended Nothing to Hide for the outstanding picture transfer and the movie itself, not for the commentary track (which I agree is utterly useless). I think it was an absurd idea to expect Jill Kelly to have an opinion about movies she’d never seen before and was viewing for the first time. All of the Holliday & Kelly commentaries are sporadic to say the least. They are the commentary team from hell.In my opinion, Robert Kerman (aka ‘R.Bolla’) is one of the best actors ever to appear in porn movies. I met him at a film convention just over a year ago, where he recorded a commentary track with director Ruggero Deodato, for an as yet unreleased special edition DVD of the exploitation classic Cannibal Holocaust . At the time, Kerman said he worked in local theatre productions and did voice overs for commercials. He’s a class act and I’m adding Alexandra to my shopping list simply because it contains a commentary track by him.
