I could rattle off a random list of company names that are located outside the US, but to be able to helpfully answer this question, it all depends on what you're after (US porn from outside the US, Euro Studios, Japanese stuff), and perhaps also which country you're in (if you're after something local to yourself).

Buying direct from the U.S would also be a reasonable option as everything seems cheaper over there which would offset the added shipping costs.

Buying wholesale from the retailers here would certainly be an option. I have already bought quite alot of dvds from almost all of them listed here.

However, if i was going to buy wholesale i would have to shop around for the best deals and that would mean also checking out all of these 'so called' large distributors i have heard mentioned on here.

I can understand why they don't get much of a mention in this forum (this site is mainly for the customer and the retailer).
But surely as wholesalers they only sell in bulk and to trade so the retailers on here should have nothing to fear from their customers knowing who is further up the chain of supply.
