Business-wise, it was probably a pretty stupid move . I didn't know any better though. Joey Silvera, (who I still love to this day) booked me for my first scene ever. He asked, 'Do you do anal sex?' I said "Yes". (Well, I did. I had been having anal sex with my husband for almost a year at the time.) So my first scene was an anal scene. I did a DP about 10 scenes later. For that one, I made a conscious decision to do it though. I hadn't had a whole lot of sexual experience when I got into porn, and having sex with 2 guys at once was a fantasy that I was very excited to live out. That director for that scene was John Leslie, and he would have hired me for that day even if I didn't want to do the DP, which made me even more excited about it. If I could do it all over, knowing what I do now, I probably would have held out for my first on-camera anal for a few months just to build up a little 'hype' or whatever. But then again, maybe not. If I was having sex with Justin Slayer or Denis Marti or some of the other hot guys that are in the business now, I don't think I'd be able to resist telling them to put their cock in my ass. Oh, and BTW - I did do Dirty Dirty Debutantes as my 5th or 6th video. Ed Powers was trying to figure out what a first on-camera thing would be for me. They all sound like they worked more like a temporary employment agency rather than being real agents. Did they just get a set fee back then or did they get a percentage? If it was a fee based system, I can understand why they did nothing to help maximize a performers income. I'm sure that there are some that still work that way.
