There truly was nothing quite like Facial Abuse. For some time now, it seems that were forced to become more, I guess you could say, mainstream friendly. And either Duke Skywalker's voice changed or he's no longer the man behind the camera. Whoever it is, he sounds like a scripted douche or someone who's trying too hard to be sleazy. Yeah I know, Duke never sounded pleasant but again, that was Facial Abuse's schtick. So when I say Facial Abuse is dead, what I'm saying is, it's a shell of its former self. Sure the girls still puke, but the harsh physical and verbal and emotional abuse is so lackluster, you could call the performance vanilla when compared to how it used to be. ^Let me first say that I am not a fan of FA. I have joined once or twice in my life but this was many, many years ago and I did not keep a single video from those time. That said I am not going to offer any negative comment on the content because it would take too long and wouldn't address your complaint. Now since I don't have a membership then the following is only based on those very short trailers the site offers to visitors but other than the wall being white in some videos and a different colors in others. The content seems to be consistent with what I remember it to be and it's not remotely mainstream porn. It's still the same fringe misogynist stuff it has always been and maybe just maybe it's not them but you. If you now think that they aren't as extreme or that the quality has dropped then you might want to give them a pass for a couple of months and then come back because I get the feeling that your perception of their content is skewed in the negative for no reason. Facial abuse has been going downhill for a number of years now. I used to be a member but stopped and I believe the following are the multiple reasons for its decline: 1) Updates - For the past few years, they have been skipping many weekly updates. Sometimes you only get 2 updates per month, so the monthly cost is not worth it. My personal suggestion is to only sign up once every 4 or 5 months and get all the scenes at once 2) Repeats - This is super annoying. I think that Amelia Dire chick (who i'm not a big fan of) has shot for the website like 10 times I think. I'm sorry but I'm not interested in seeing the same chick over and over again. Maybe if it was someone like Maia Davis doing multiple scenes, I would be ok with but not the likes of Amelia Dire 3) Popularity - Most updates are not hot or even popular chicks like what Bryan Gozzling is able to get for his Hookup Hotshot. Why pay for facial abuse when you can get "almost" the similar content but with much much hotter chicks on other sites. 4) Hotness - Back in the day they had some really hot chicks, Maia Davis, Gina Lynn, Amber Rose, Felicia Fallon, Maya McKay, Codi Rose, Brittney Cruise, Natalie Moore, Felicity Feline, and the GREATEST OF ALL MAYLI! Today, most of the chicks are barely a 5/10 5) The New Format - The whole white couch, Steve Holmes format sucks ass. These scenes are worthless compared to what Bootleg and Big Red used to deliver. 6) No Multiple Site Offers - They used to offer a combined membership for FA, LA, and GG but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Maybe the $30 monthly charge would be worth it if they offered all three. They do offer the $20 discount, but I still think its not worth it with the number of updates (with hot chicks) they are able to get. 7) Market - Also, FA Style porn is not for everyone, and there seems to be a larger market for the new "lighter FA" and the new BlackPayback type of thing. This type is more verbal humiliation porn but the physical part is much more tame. So, its likely they are giving up on the old smaller market and hoping to tap the larger "lite FA" market.
It all comes down to the girls. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel with the girls they get now. If you peruse the homepage I have no idea why anyone would want to watch most of these girls. That's probably not surprising given their reputation but in years past they had decent looking girls.

Yeah.. they have like a roster of 10 subpar girls who they shoot repeatedy. One chick shot for them 7 times I think. Also, you only get like an average of 2 updates a month, not 4. Nd if you count how often then repeat girls, you're likely only getting 1 new girl update per month. 1 update for $30? Screw that!
I actually think the standard of girls has gone up as they are now shooting with a separate crew on the west coast so you are now seeing decent porn stars on there like London River, Kacie Castle, Bobbi Dylan, Layla Love, Karma Rx etc. You usually do get around one scene per week between the two crews. It's been a while since I've seen really unattractive girls on there.
Which agent would think that sending one of his client to FA is a good business decision? You don't need to see dozen of their videos before you realise that most of the women who will be subjected to the kind of treatment FA is known for will have huge problems with it. There is a reason why you almost never see an established performer work for FA and why you also never see the same woman come back. There are exceptions but they are the exception. All of the others are the norm.
Personally, I think their latest stuff is pretty good. I like the higher framerate.
Gozzling does do a somewhat similar style. But I don't know if I would call it far superior. I feel facial abuse is better for its gagging action. FA's style of shooting appears to be very much influenced by the old JM productions gag factor series. Gozzling seems to have more of a max hardcore influence, in the way he fetishes younger looking nubile talent, dressing them in a very similar manner.
Gozzling also has at least equal focus on the gagging and fucking in his scenes whereas facial abuse has more focus on the gagging. I like his style as well but I wouldn't say one is better than the other.
Can't say I have ever been able to like pissing scenes. This and fisting is always a turn off for me. To each his own though I guess.
Personally, I liked the light bondage they incorporated in one of their recent scenes and the body writing in another recent. I would like them to incorporate those elements into more of their scenes.

My theory is that the women who choose to work for FA either have never heard of them and didn't do any research prior to working for them(Dumb if true) or they are women that are desperate and need the money. I suspect the later is more than likely why they decide to work for FA and you know which ones are beyond desperate because they come back a second and sometimes a third time.
Needless to say that I think that their stuff is just as vile today as it was when they first started and the day they go under is the day I will celebrate their demise.

I never could get into FA. The concept is great, but I felt the execution was always really poor. The production was crap, their style was just never very good, and the girls they had were sub-par most of the time. One the other hand Gag Factor was nearly the same thing and was great because it got all of that stuff right. Sexually Broken is a more modern day equivalent of what FA wanted to be.
