No you're right actually. I was watching 60 minutes the other day, no Dateline sorry and yes -- bizarre phenomenon but they all stopped walking. At the same time nonetheless. Its actually affecting the whole industry because nobody can get the stars to set anymore. All the production crews have to go to the star's houses to shoot. Which weirdly helps explain the age old phenomenon about why all porn houses look alike -- its because they all stoppes walking and nobody can leave their homes! So they can only film in like three or four locations across LA, Miami, Vegas. Fortunately europe has trains which mitigates the no walking problem a bit which is why you see a bit more variety. While Francesca Le is an attractive woman, her calves are a weak point for her. She has very high tendon insertions which give her legs a 'stick-like' look, not very sexy.
It's not just about walking or not walking. If you googlesearch "how to make my calves bigger" the results are primarily male bodybuilders wanting their calves bigger. If you googlesearch "how to make my calves smaller" the results will be women living in fear of getting muscular/bulky/defined calves. American performers have proven they're not afraid to modify their bodies to achieve a desired look. They work out, exercise, get implants, tattoos, piercings, etc. If calves were "a thing", there would be numerous porn women with noteworthy calves. As it is, calves are (only) a fetish thing, limited to female bodybuilders, or BBW's who have naturally shapely calves, or clips4sale, which covers all fetishes, no matter how niche.

All I'm saying is that if you look at vintage porn in the 80's, or 90's, there were a lot more actresses with beautifully shaped calves, compared to now, where they are almost impossible to find. Why I say walking is probably the difference, is that many white and asian woman are born with very low calf muscle insertions, which results in a long calf muscle compared to, say black people who have very short calf muscles. People with long calf muscles are able to activate that muscle very easily just by walking as calf muscles respond well to volume, like long walks. Which is often why you sometimes notice a person with no muscular development besides their calves. And it's not that much walking too, even 7 km walking a day suffices for this kind of growth if you have the genetics. I notice many porn actresses that definitely have long calve muscles, but they're very small or hidden in the fat layer in some of the curvy ladies.
You raise an excellent point about the lack of calf enhancement. But there might be a problem with your methodology: my intuition tells me that there must be as many calf men as there are leg men, as I can't imagine a leg man accepting a great pair of thighs but with calves that didn't share the same aesthetic, whatever that was in the first place. I am not prepared to accept that legs are a niche fetish, but we also see a lack of leg enhancement surgery, which suggests that there might be an alternative explanation for the lack of calf enhancement surgery as well, other than it is a niche that no one really cares about.

I never looked at it this way before. I've noticed a few girls getting butt implants which spoiled their look (it really looks horrible) so perhaps leg implants are being avoided, considering that porn market for calves is far fewer than for butts.
Yes, that's the part I must concede to you and ninja: It looking horrible never stopped anyone from still getting it done. If there's a market for horrible boob and butt jobs, there should also be a market for horrible calf jobs, but there doesn't seem to be.
