The other day I was reading an Esquire article while waiting to get my hair cut. It said most people have dark skin pigmentation around their anus and that porn stars and others have begun using "anal bleaching" products to remove that pigmentation. OK I now plan to have my doctor check my asshole out the next time he has his finger up there and ask if he has a whitening gel he can use instead of that KY jelly. Guys are supposed to hate that but actually I like having my prostrate massaged and get physicals every two months now. It is done using hydroquinone,or kojic acid, or cysteine, or some other presumably skin-friendly product. I don't know if any of these are appropriate for use on or around mucus membranes. And some may work only to prevent darkening that occurs because of sun exposure. You'd have to inquire, or find out the methods by which they work. Skronker, if you google natural treatments for foot and nail fungus, there are safer antifungals like tea tree oil, oregano oil, grapefruit seed extract, and maybe even strong tea. Click to expand lindi, We're talkin' 'bout an area where the sun don't shine so I doubt darkening from sun exposure is the cause of the brown "O" ring around my anus. Even Jane who goes tanning regularly in the nude has a white spot in her crack that doesn't get exposed ... we checked hers out too after reading your post. Also I wiped three times before sticking the mirror up there so I don't think it is dingleberries. Besides if I could find that Esquire article it says what the products are and who makes them .... its all stuff available out there in the "valley" where there is a large market for these products. Lay out in the sun on your stomach and prop yourself on a couple of pillows, using a plastic taco cradle (be sure to get the open-frame flexible type) to prop your buns open). Or you can use a self-tannner and have a friend hold your butt crease open with a pair of scissor tongs so it dries evenly without smudges. [Link]
