| MrMire Member A rural area in Northeastern Bavaria, Germany 65 Posts 7/04 | I never said, that there is no racism or specific stereotypes in Germany. We all have our problems here, too. In Eastern Germany - where I unfortunately go to college *oh I miss Bavaria :-(* - there's a huge problem with neonazi and skinhead guys. Xenophobia and racism is latent in the smaller rural cities here and also in Western Germany - in a scenario where the amount of foreigners is about 1 or 2% of the total population (sic!). But... to come back to the issue of IR porn. In Germany there are of course also IR porn vids on market. And undoubted, they are sucessful. But after all, this is still a very small market niche and there is not much talk about it. Series like "Big Willy" from Puaka are licensed versions of old Lex or Mandingo films. If you got to a local video store there are much more sick and pervert piss, fist or scat videos in the shelves than IR porn films. And even those piss and scat films are a very small niche overall. And there are definitely no specific Turkish or other "foreigner biased" series' on the market!!! I have never ever seen films like "Schwänze groß wie Döner" or "Russische Schwänze sprühen Sperma wie Wodka" ;-D And don't forget one important point: Turkish, Russian or other groups ARE mostly foreigners in Germany. A lot of older Turkish people can't even speak or read German. A thing that can't be said about black people in the US who were born and raised in the states. So it is definitely another point of view if you talk about racism and xenophobia against strangers and about racism against a major minority that is part of a country for more than 250 years. Most turks came to Germany in the 1960s!!! It is a totally different topic since Germany's immigration history is still really young. And it wasn't long ago that most people and the politics would deny that there is even immigration to Germany. Edited by - MrMire on 9/13/2005 1:50:06 PM |
