I'm 99% sure it's men, though I have nothing beyond anecdotal evidence to back that up. Not sure what the purpose of the "goofy ass" part of the comment is. Are you saying that men in general are "goofy", or that men who buy porn specifically are more "goofy" than average? In either case, I'm pretty sure I disagree, but I'd have to get an idea of your definition of the term first.... :)
In all seriousness, when you're looking at customer or audience segmentation, you're going to look at the audience as a whole, divide them into sub-groups of like kind, and then (for sake of convenience) label those sub-groups...so "goofy-ass" may not be so way off...but I don't think that's a descriptive enough label, nor is that sub-group anywhere near being a big buyer of porn. The interesting thing about porn however is that demographics are tricky to use as audience groupings. You'd group more by interest level in type-of-porn (and I'm not talking about porn categories or fetishes). But there are some demographic trends, and goofy-assed men in younger ages are among the least likely to actually buy porn.
when i wrote "I'm racist against men", you were supposed to L0L at it and move on would be interesting to know why men buy more porn than women. Men probably buy more "lesbian" porn than women also huh. off topic i don't like the labels for people and their preferences
You make the mistake by thinking that people still buy porn these days. Everything is readily available on the internet or downloadable for piracy, which i assume is bad in the porn companies perspective. Edited by - umberto on 10/29/2018 12:53:56 PM
People do still buy porn. Look at all the studios and porn companies around. They wouldn't be able to keep going if they weren't making money. Also the tubesites are for bottom feeders who don't really care about what/which porn they watch, as long as it's free. If you want particular porn, complete scenes, high quality, particular performers,...you have to pay for it.
^ Some sites for $5 - 9.95 you can access their whole catalog and download it - 1080p, 4K etc. How awesome is that? If you can't pay for porn, even just once or twice.... it baffles me. If you're a tight-ass, you just cancel immediately and get a months access without rebill.
"Buys porn"? I would wager that men pay for the largest quanity of porn by far. Now who "watches" porn? I keep seeing references to things like women are becoming more and more connoisseurs of porn viewing, making up as much as 20-30 or even 40% of all the porn audience out there. I don't doubt that there are women who watch porn some, but even the lower 20% figure, I'm skeptical of. Watching 2 minutes of a porn vid once in a blue moon does not count as "watching porn".
