But other posts here are about seeing a pornstar in person, so I will add Alex Jordan to my list. She, in some ways, reminded me of Barbara Dare, which is why she also became a fixation. I was in NYC, in early spring of 1995, the year she committed suicide. I was walking south on 8th ave. back to Port Authority to catch a bus back to NJ, when, as I passed the old "Show World" I saw a poster, with her picture, announcing her appearance there that week, and as it happened a show was going to start in about 15 minutes. I had to go. Show World had an upstairs room called The Triple Treat Theater (it might have been called The Triple X Theater,but the years have clouded my memory, if not my judgment. Her outfit was white lingerie. I had not seen Seymore Butt's Seymore Butts And The Honeymooners (1992) at the time, which was shot at their real wedding and honeymoon suite (I now own it and it is hot - especially for the wedding genre), at the time, but that is how she looked. She did about 30 minutes or so of stripping off her panties and bra and playing with herself, while the guy in the shorts, with the newspaper over his lap, kept a constant beat with the piped in music. After the show was over we all filed past her expressing our collective approval as she offered her hand (I lost track of guy in shorts, so I'm not sure what he did with his hand, though I do think she was wearing long white gloves) as she kissed each of us on the cheek. Afterwards she sold some of her videos and allowed Polaroids to be taken, for a fee. You could even meet with her privately for a few minutes.
