i really don't know whether ashley blue is going to continue as "girlvert" now that she's out of contract. let's say she's out (although i hope not) - who would u like to see as the new "girlvert" ?

Ashley has already said that her relationship with JM Productions is still good so it's not out of the realm of possibilities that the Girlvert series would continue with her remaining the star. It's been a mutually beneficial line for them both so it would be silly, I think, to let hard feelings get in the way of making money.To me, Ashley Blue IS Girlvert. It seems the line was created around her because she was one of the few starlets able to pull it off with her wacky combination of unique traits: a non-traditional look, her natural charisma and a willingness to do nearly anything on-camera. I'm not sure you can replace her. But if porn has taught us anything, if she or JM chooses not to continue, they will try.

to the contrary....Girlvert was first created and was used with the performer by the name of Keegan Sky....although Ashley has taken the reigns soo far I do think myself she should pass the torch to someone else. The problem with series like these is that there is soo much she can do over and over and over again....I can still see her being apart of the line possibly looking for a girl to take it over. I always thought that she was going to go deeper into directing. I stopped paying attention to the series after the fifth one.
I stand happily corrected. Maybe I should have said the line was resurrected and its current incarnation was built around Ashley Blue. To me (and I'm sure many others), though, Ashley is still THE one and only Girlvert since the only one in which she wasn't is the very first one. That's like saying Alyson Hannigan isn't Willow Rosenburg because Riff Regan portrayed the character first in the unaired pilot. But thanks for the trivia.
I can't think of anyone else who would make this work. Ashley Blue is very nonpornstarish, both in attitude and appearance. That is a huge part of the appeal to me. Although I am a fan of many of the girls listed so far, and although I would like to see them dominate others, none have the right feel for Girlvert.
It is my understanding that both JM and Ashley want to continue the series with Ashley in the title role.
I agree that Melissa Lauren could do the role. But the Girlvert uniform might be a problem. While I can imagine Melissa wearing a backpack stuffed with dildos and a rubber chicken, I would not want to be nearby when she was asked to wear pigtails...
