There is a photographer called Larry Sultan , who makes photos of the porn sets in San Fernando Valley..but I think he focuses more on middle class than upper class houses.

Jonni Darkko lives in a loft in Downtown Los Angeles, and when I talked to him there he took such pride in the place (and pleasure in the community) that I doubt very much he owns that Malibu manse as well.

you are correct, we have seen that house and surrounds a lot more than we knew and didn't know the square red arch went with the inside decor, but it does make sense. this still doesn't answer our questions about who owns the house and lives there while all these porn shoots are going on. we're trying to imagine somebody actually living there and maybe all it is is a porn set. much less interesting if that's the case.

As for many of those questions, why do you think that many of these questions would even be answered. If indeed someone DID live in them, why would they want you to know where it is?

After looking at a map of the area, I'd get enough of a rise seeing the mountainous area between Porn Valley and the ocean (or is that Santa Monica Bay?). The rugged areas between CA-23 and CA-27 look as though they're lined with beautiful homes & gardens. Much to the chagrin of mother nature & her mudslides I'd think, unfortunately?

Given the pricey, often unaffordable (unless you're a producer/distributor/lawyer, ha) reputation of SoCal, multi-million wouldn't surprise me. However, it's nice to know that many talent are "at home" in a condo, loft or studio apartment setting even. I like my space, but probably couldn't afford it in SoCal (even if I DID take a railroad job there, lol).

RdA: I really dig the intros in many movies where the girl is posing with the oceanic backdrop. WOW, just shooting the backdrop would be enough for me...but to have a porn beauty in front of it, that'd be like vacation!! DAMN, awesome views! :)

I don't know where they are...

I've seen XZibit talking about someone who approached him about doing porn in his house, he declined (Pimp my Ride).

I was surprised to one house noted in Porn Valley's own Woodland Hills? For some reason, I envisioned that as more of a suburban community, since that area looks all sardined into each other block by block (Reseda, Chatsworth, etc.)? I guess I never picutred it with vistas like that one home details on the 818 site. Neat!

But anyway, I posted a question on here previously asking who owns the houses where alot of these movies are filmed because I doubted if the directors/producers owned the houses themselves (unless they're making alot more money than we think they are). I was told in that thread that these houses are usually rented just for location shoots (such as pornos, music videos, studio films, etc.), and don't actually belong to anyone associated with the film.

The problem with a lot of these home owners... not all, but almost... they want the money, but they really don't want you there. It is true... that many times porn producers allow their group to not really respect the house, and sure it's not like we're paying a fee to rent the house AND break their dishes and blow holes through their walls. Sure, that's extra. But, when they say, sure you can fuck on my sofa and then half-way through the scene start getting upset over the sweat and lube and you suddenly have to cover the tan sofa in a purple blanket... and they still charge you for the cleaning of the sofa... that drives me crazy. Maybe the key is to stick to fucking on marble floors. Of course, they'll probably get you for a crack in the marble for which nine other producers have already paid.

You two have a way with words. Ok enough with the Skittles now I want to move on down the road and get your take on this one (HeyNow will like this).

We have watched 3 recent videos filmed in this house and have noticed something interesting.

The first video was Mike John's Elastic Assholes #3 and in it Michael Stefano, John Strong and Manuel Ferrara do a scene with Marie Luv on this beautiful white upholstered fabric couch. Marie was a little dirty and the couch had brown spots from end to end by the time the scene was over and she had finished her cumshitter, anal flower finale.

Video two (same house) was Manuel Ferrara's Ass Attack in which Michael Stefano does a scene on the same couch with Ayana Angel. This time the white couch pillows have gold covers and the couch is draped with a gold cover-up (the kind you tuck in like making a bed.

Video three (same house) is Manuel Ferrara's Anal Expedition #7 in which Manuel Ferrara does a scene Alexis Amore on the same couch with the gold cover over the brown spotted white couch.

Do any of you know whose house this is? I'm pretty sure it is not any of the guys who were there when the couch got trashed because they kinda joked about messing the place up in the BTS. After reading some of the posts here, I wonder what people like the Skittle's keep doing this for in some of these very expensive homes.... must be "Show Me the Money" as Kat says. Still dicknjane much prefer the gonzo's that are in one of these extravagant homes to the cheap hotel room versions.

I've always been curious about a mansion that was in two titles featuring Aurora Snow. One was "The Babysitter," but I believe she was there earlier in her Teen Tryouts scene. It's on a steep, almost cliff-like hill that borders a park. At least that's what the interviwer/voiceover said. Anyone know what park this is?

Personally... I've grown so tired of all these same old houses. They've all been shot out a million times. Maybe it's because I'm a chick, but, for me a location is like a girl... once you've fucked her, you're over it, unless she's really special and then you sort of discover new ways to shoot her for as long as you can keep the magic alive.

That big house on Kanan Road is so cheap to rent because it has been overshot for a very very long time. A house of that size should cost well over $1k for 8 hrs but I think they only charge like $600 or $700. Plus that place is a huge fucking echo chamber due to the concrete floors.
