Am I the only one who doesn't find anal to be very enjoyable in porn? To me it's gross, and I usually skip through it. There is a lot of anal in porn and I was wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't "get it".
^Like anything else in porn, there are probably far more people not into (insert popular porn sex act here) than you think. There are also probably far more titles that don't contain (insert popular porn sex act here) than you think. My advice is to read reviews before purchasing/renting, so you can avoid flicks with anal in them. There are plenty. Unfortunately for you, it may be difficult if a particular star that you enjoy does anal scenes quite frequently. You may have to get her non-anal scenes, and then accept that you'll have to start getting into other girls that don't do anal as much. But that's like anything else in life I guess. You might think a particular woman is great, but she does something that's a "dealbreaker", so you realize she's not the one for you. It's tough, but you move on. For me, if you replace the word "anal" with the word "choking", I would echo your post exactly, and I have the same problem. Some girls do A LOT of choking in their scenes, so despite being really into that girl's look, I have to accept that I'll only enjoy a small number of her videos, and get into other girls more. I don't see how 'normal' anal in porn could be gross, not a turn on sure, but unless it's gaping and the kind of stuff, what makes it so gross? It's all clean in most cases.
The biggest problem I have with the prominence of anal in porn is that there's too much pressure for girls who aren't the slightest bit into it to start doing it. That and once a girl does an anal scene, suddenly, every scene she does has to be anal. I think anal is something that is (generally) not bad for you if you do it occasionally but it can become a serious health concern if you do it constantly. I didn't mean this to sound like a complaining post. That wasn't my point. I know everyone has their thing. I guess my main point was just to see if I'm the only one who doesn't get it. But even when I asked the question, I really knew the answer already. I guess one frustration recently was I got a DVD that was supposed to be about swallowing cum. Every scene had anal (in addition to swallowing). One scene had no vaginal at all. That sucked.

The idea that any piece of biology has a use that is somehow its "imperative" is laughably naive... It's 'for' whatever you want to use it for.... guy133, When I first started watching porn (back in the days of VHS), I would always fast forward through the anal sex scenes. They were boring at best and mildly gross at worst. Over the years I grew to like the scenes well enough to not automatically fast forward through them. I still don't prefer them, but I can enjoy an anal movie if it happens to be really good. I've tried it out a few times in real life and found it to be an interesting variation but not something that I feel compelled to do often. Anal tends to be a bit more of an involved process in real life, and sometimes isn't as clean. But anyway..... I can understand your frustration because it used to annoy me too. I still find it difficult to find non-feature porn DVDs that don't have anal.
