Literally, in almost every scene in most features there is a closeup of the male performers face during the sex scene. I dunno about you guys, but I assume u feel the same that nothing can cause more issues while jerking off than seeing another man's face suddenly on the screen. If anything can make you go limp quicker while watching porn, I dunno what. Why do directors always do these closeups. It's a waste of footage and doesn't help anyone get off. I don't think that we should see a closeup of male performer's face during a sex scene -- EVER. Do u guys think the same?

I don't know what is worse, the face shots or the tightly clenched man ass.

Do you think Men are the only ones who watch porn? Many women enjoy adult movies and they like to see images that help them get off too. Since most movies are made and directed to cater to men, I don't think it's too much to ask to see a man's face on the screen for half a second. You've been staring at his dick for most of the movie as he bangs some chick, and you know he obviously has a face, so what's the big deal if you see it?

It isn't about me thinking that it's men who watch much of porn, but even when I have watched with girlfriends or otherwise, it's always been a point of derision or humor, never really a turn-on. It's just funny and useless in a lot of the experience I have had. Please mind, that i am not trying to make a contentious point, as I think it's mainly a funny aspect.

Not everyone watches every scene/movie with the purpose of jerking off.
Sorry, but I can't find nice words here.
Grow up! Make yourself comfortable with sexuality!
I consider myself as a 100% pure heterosexual man and am not keen on seeing man in an erotic context, but I do not get this ostentative showing of repulse, when a man is portrayed in an erotic context.
I always wonder if some people are cryptic homo- or bisexuals, who deny or conceal their nature when making statements like this.
BTW, if you have problems with watching another aroused man's face, do you also have problems seeing another man's erect cock?
Then you should start watching Lesbian themed porn.
To show that the male character is also having a good time?
To show the "chemistry" between the performers or characters.
It helps portraying an erotic atmosphere.
An erotic atmosphere portrayed in a movie helps at least one man, who uses the nick Zartyr, to get off.
I have also heard rumours that one or two women watch porn.
I would prefer camera angles which show the face of man and woman.
But anyhow, a few seconds after the male close-up I will see the female actress, again.
I could even stand Virginie from Colmax.

Or to put it in other words, I have a dislike for garlic, but there are some meals where I would miss garlic.

Hey thanks for taking apart my post point for point, but I have to mention, I was being completely light-hearted about this. I realize it's immature. I just wanted people to respond to it in a lighthearted manner. I see that it may seem I was upset, I am not. I just noticed something last night that I had noticed before and always shared a good laugh with friends on. I am sorry for taking this opinion if it offends you with its immaturity.

Is your girlfriend turned on watching your face in a state of arousal, or does she make fun of it also?

I'd advise her to consider sexual therapy, or grow up in her sexual life.
I mean I can stand ridiculing myself, but if a woman universally derides the aroused expression of a man, she has a serious problem, YMMV.

What I don't get is the roaring of some actors, which would put a moose or lion to shame.

How can a member of the species Homo sapiens produce such a sound?
Do male actors take classes with opera singers?
Given the capacity of male pornstars' lungs, is apnoe diving their favourite sport?
And if not, how do sound engineers fabricate these roars? Microphones on the deck of an aircraft carrier to collect fitting sound samples?

Yes, it's a sad fact. There is nothing erotic about the male body or sexual expression. Men are just ugly grunting brutes, who have no place being portrayed in porn. Their expressions are just silly. The female body and expression are the only truly erotic part of the human equation.

In the first scene of Remembering Times Gone Bi (VHS), a young Sharon Kane gets her world rocked to orgasm by a young guy. My wife said, "Ooo, he eats pussy just like you do, and he's got a nice ass like yours too!" It's a delight to see both of them and their genuine expression.

I find it extremely sexy when a man genuinely has an orgasm and lets it show. If I've gotten my man off, I want to see it in his face. I get even more turned on to see my man moaning and groaning...it means I'm doing my job right! It also means he'll appreciate my skills!

You know who has a sexy moan...? Randy Spears. He's got that deep crackly moan that sounds like he smokes unfiltered cigs and drinks straight bourbon.

The worst face ever was Mike Horner. He looked like a clown in pain. Tom Byron wasn't that pretty either.

Showing a man's face should be a capital offense. It has no place in porn.

I want to see the man's face. It's freaky to me when you don't get at least one glimpse of him, otherwise who is the girl fucking? - a ghost? a robot? a man is more than a penis.
I have noticed though that men in porn feel like they have to fuck like jackhammers, which is why they end up making terrible facial expressions. I've even seen a few scenes when some of the girls were laughing at the man's facial expression at orgasm because he looked so ridiculous; it's a far cry from real life expressions.

Seeing the guy's face is okay because there is an occasional female viewer, but who are these people who sometimes give the guy's mug "equal time" on screen, as if the pornstars were campaigning for an upcumming election or something. The percentage of time spent on the guys face should be equal to the percentage of female consumers.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to register your sex before you can buy porn. That being the case, determining the percentage is going to be a little tough. Besides, shouldn't a porn company be allowed to target whichever audience they want? Just because you or I don't find their shot selection hits the magic spot doesn't mean nobody else does.

If you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me if I want to see male faces during a sex scene in porn, I'd rather say no.
Or put it in another way, I don't mind or object seeing a man's face.
But your post addresses a key point - IMNSHAO.

Let's take a John Thompson video.
One thing his videos share is some kind of creepy or eerie atmosphere, I don't get. (I am talking about the "prelude" fucking scenes here. The cumshots are another matter. Let Blake or Ninn shoot a bukkake, so I can understand this fetish also, but I digress).

Viewing this thread and reading your post, the near total lack of male faces on screen may be one of the reasons - if not the very reason - of the creepiness und eerie atmosphere (If the head of a man is shown, you are likely to see a icehockey-goalkeeper-mask).

Full ACK, although I haven't looked into a mirror in such a situation myself and not all actors have this overacted facial expression.
But many of them have facial expressions like competitors in the olympic finals in weightlifting going for gold in their last lift.

If you want to avoid this you can always watch P.O.V. movies, but I don't know if they would appeal to your GF.

When dudes spit.

Not to confuse the mere dripping of saliva onto a parched, juiceless, about to be impaled bum.
Infact, its of little inconvenience for this viewer, to pause the action, and reach for lube, but a bit a spit, is always fine to assist in a pinch.
I'm referring to the male performer, who spits directly into the females face, presumably with the intent to inflect an impression of dominance over her.
Well, not one to shun artistic freedom, or those having enhanced tastes of this variety, I'll refine my point to only when the "spitter", compounds this unnerving act, by adding to it, the zippier lugie sound effect.

Call it a childhood phobia I never outgrew, but when some dude hawks a lugie on the sidewalk, most folks elect not even to step on it, let alone nuzzle it.

I also hate those close-ups of men, during the scene and mostly during the cumshot. It ruins the scene for me. It should be all about the girls, in my opinion men ar just props, the less attention they get from the cameraman the better.

Btw, I'm sure couples-appeal movies show more men faces than gonzo so women who want to see men faces also always have the choice to pick up those movies.
