I'm taking the cue from another thread to post a question here that I've been wondering about for quite some time.
Unlike the other poster, I won't go so far as to say that Euro porn is better than U.S. porn. But it IS obvious, to me at least, that, in general, Euro girls are different from their American counterparts.
It's easy to tell the average American porn performer is what she is: 19 years old, not long out of high school, with a wardrobe that suggests either that she doesn't put a lot of thought into dressing to impress or that she's no stranger to strip clubs.
Many of the Euro girls I see, on the other hand, appear to be more ... well, sophisticated is the only word I can come up with. They dress more nicely than your typical teenage mall rat, have better make-up and hair, and project a more mature presence than their chronological ages would suggest they should be.
Here's another way to put it: If I'm going to a black-tie function and wish to hire a woman to accompany me, I want to take someone who I think can caary herself in that environment. Whether they can or not isn't the point: WHat is the point is that, based on what I've seen in thousands of hours of watching porn over the years, I'd look first to the Monica Sweeteharts, Lucy Lees, Daniella Rushes, Sophie Sweets, Aneta Keyeses and Angel Darks, etc., of porn.
The question: If you accept the premise, to what can the existence of this difference exist?
We only see the very best of the European porn stars. Europe is more open and accepting of porn and the ladies of porn. From my perspective here in the USA they don’t seem to be shut out of society, like they are here. They seem to still be accepted in politics, business, fashion, and entertainment. In the US,if you showed up at a black tie function with a porn star on your arm, I don’t think you would be invited back.
Savanna Samson is the equal of any lady. I bet Dana DeArmond would clean up very nicely, and turn a lot of heads.
The shear number of porn scenes shot in the US and the number of ladies needed for these scenes doesn’t allow porn producers to pick and choose.
Fashions “the hippy look” the “grunge look” “the dressing down” never happened in Europe. “Style” never went out of style in Europe.
In Woodman's Castings you'll see the girls coming off the street looking very much like their American teen counterparts (chewing gum and all), but European directors then make them look presentable for us. American directors don't bother with that, preferring unbeautified reality perhaps, or (frankly) the very vulgarity and sluttishness that European "sophisticates" try to disguise. So I'd say the difference is not in the girls but in the attitude toward sex on either side of the great divide.
First, many american porn girls were strippers before doing porn, while most euros are next door girls who want to pay their flat, school or clothes. Sure both enjoy sex but have different background. Second, most european girls are czech and hungarian who earn more money in few hours doing porn than with a regular job in a month. Third, there are 500 porn models in Czech republic (10 million people country) and 500 in Hungary (8 million) but there are few tens in Germany, France and Italy (200 million people). Have you ever wondered about it? Maybe 40 years of communism is the answer (not the only answer though)
Thats becaue they are. Most Eurogirls I've seen are older then 24-25 as opposed to most of the american girls who start at 18-19. There are some mature American Girls out there as well. To be honest. I think a lot of Euro girls are more shy and eager to please as opposed to being more Mature. That is why they come off as mature. They don't know how to speak American that well and they don't know how to interact with us.
What gets into the USA is the glamorous stuff that has little competition in the US market, unless Ninn and Blake float your boat. Don't mistake that for all of European porn, though. You can find teenies, plain janes and any other type of gal you want. Go check out Magma and Puaka, for starters.
European girls are generally more mature at a younger age than their State-side counterparts. Not to diminish the American way, but Europeans are better educated, more culturally developed and have a less hypocritical traditional value system. That's not to say there aren't any perfectly cool and hip US sluts nor any snot-nosed Euro-porn-trash.
And I think in Eastern Europe you find the hotter looking chics because the economy is more desperate. They spill out of the woodwork to get such high-paying gigs (for their more depressed Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Hungarian economies) as porno offers. This makes them more professional about the job too since few other jobs pay so well in comparison.
I'm sure there can also be an interesting study into the flux of Slavic and Eurasian bloodlines with the Austrian/German/Hapsburg helping to produce the stunning old Soviet-bloc beauties.
I'm not so sure about that. But a lot of Euro girls have already been working for a few years before they first appear in a US production. E.g. Pantera, listed here as active 2002-2005. Yet I have seen Russian movies with her as early as 1997.

There are a lot of new talents from Eastern Europe between 18-22. Girls like: Boroka, Missy Nicole, Sabrina Sweet and Gotta only to name a few. I know they haven't been in many releases yet but you can find many new girls at sites like Club Sandy and Pix/video.
And then you have Sineplex and Sinsational that makes tons of movies with young russian girls between 18-22.
That is not completely true if you go to EGADF site you'll find that France , Italy and German have lots and lots of pornstars many of them never came out of their own country there are in each of them a lot of semi Private productions such as Roy Parsifal and CentoPerCento in Italy or The Privatx and the old Dorian McGray casting or Inzest or Teeny Casting from German and still there are tons of such productions and there are Hundreds of of girls who did porn only they have not registered lists or they did only few scenes without even been credited.
